this is a silly little myo thing for a species ive sunk some of my time working on. i guess a sort of closed species? i dont know. anyway this is basically like any picrew thingy maker except you have to colour it in yourself because im lazy :)

anyway, on to the infrequently asked questions:

“what is a kryshi?”
- a kryshi is a fictional species made by meeee!!! they’re weird little rodent things with antennae and spike-like legs and cool tails! they mostly eat insects and they grow to be around about the size of a cat.

“can i make my own?”
- obviously! i need clout so please make your own-

“why are you calling it a closed species when it doesn’t fit so and so criteria?”
- emphasis on “sort of” /nbr
im planning to make them more restricted if they get more popular (which i doubt they will) but obviously i dont want to be a jerk and i doubt anyone would want to make too many, plus i feel like having some very specific stuff locked behind giving me virtual money warrants it the title of being “closed”. im no good with labels

“why did you lock having multiple rare traits behind c$?”

this is an example of a male kryshi. male kryshi have darker legs and tails than females.


this is an example of a female kryshi. female kryshi have lighter legs and tails than males. female kryshi also tend to have longer fur.

4. Do they live in large groups or small families or are they solitary most of the time?

1. they’re just a result of evolution being funky. platypuses exist, in an alternate timeline, these little freaks could probably exist.

3. insects, though they will eat small rodents if they can find them.

4. they are raised by their families until they reach the age of 10 months. at the age of 10 months, a kryshi will set out on its own to find a mate and start its own family.

1. most kryshi are around about the size of a house cat. females may grow to be a bit larger than males.

2. no. they’re mostly afraid of larger creatures, however, it is possible to bond with a kryshi if one routinely feeds it and doesn’t act threatening. there are some humans that breed “domesticated kryshi” which have longer fur regardless of gender and more rounded features. domesticated kryshi can be taught tricks, whereas their wild counterparts cannot.

Awesome! That's really good to know! I might make a little domesticated family of Kryshi that are given more freedom than most. Maybe they'll all have different tricks they're good at too :3
