Off-Oekaki Nursery Hub
Information - Regular Nursery
Participation in our Discord is not mandatory for participation in the regular Nursery section of this, but is recommended.
Artists will post both on this thread when they're taking slots, as well as on the main thread with a link to their post, when they're open for slots.
You, the customer, will post here with your breeding form.
Accepted tickets will be rolled as normal, and the artist will be designing your children.
DIY Nursery tickets are not consumed through this process.
You may participate in as many artist tickets as you'd like, unless artists themselves set limitations.
You will number the children the same as DIY Nursery kids. Storkie MNBX-X where X's are the ID#'s of the children.

Participation in our Discord is mandatory for participation in the DIY section of the Nursery.
Customers will post here when they have a breeding they want to do. You may indicate if the artist is you, or if it's another person.
Official Kiwi Species staff will comment and roll for kits and applicable traits.
Now, the artist that is doing the DIY nursery will color this in with colored in kids.
Name the Cover "Storkie MNB #X-X" where X's are the ID #'s of the children.
You may use the bean lines or make a cover and make all kits on the big lines.
Please don't delete the big lines even if you don't use them.
Once they're posted and approved, you're required to state where each kid is going to.
You can design your children at your discretion as long as the colors and themes are loosely related to one, two, or three parents.
Ticket cooldowns are determined by when you post your form; if you post your form on, say, December 31st but you don't get your cover posted until January 1st or 2nd; you still have available spots for January. You've only used your freebie for December.
Staff Responsibilities

If posting tickets, then you must roll your tickets and complete them within a month.

If you roll for Hybrid Balance, please put magic type as Hybrid Balance. If regular Balance, put it as simply Leg. Balance or Balance. TY.
If you are posting a nursery batch as an artist, you must still link the ticket on the cover.
Each child approved is 1 Staff Point.
Each approval is worth 1 Staff Point (per kid)
Each batch of rolls is worth 3 points; 1 point for kid amount, 1 point for traits & mutations, 1 point for magic [ even if no traits present]
Each child created earns AP according to the Artist species rules.
You cannot self-archive your own nursery work.

Cooldowns & Growths
Storkies do not have breeding cooldowns. Newly-made Storkiesfrom the Nursery are considered fully-grown adults and may be bred whenever.
You do not need to 'grow' your Storkies; the small lines are considered fully grown designs despite being on smaller lines.

Cross-Species Breeding Rules
You can breed one of your Storkies with a character from another one of Kiwi's owned species (Everhearts included). You must compile an accurate traitlist for the other character that complies to Storkie's rarity system, not the other species. This means, if you were to make this character into a Storkie; what traits would you need?
Once done, you can breed them like normal.
Magic will be randomized within the rarity tier or below of the Storkie parent.

A Note for Rollers On Hybrid Magics
Every roll requires a hybrid magic roll if someone opts into it.
Additionally, if someone is breeding their Hybrid Magic Storkie, you'll need to roll to see which 'parent' of the hybrid magic contributes to passing for this batch. For the sake of convenience, this is per-batch, not per-kid. You will still need to roll it 'against' parent #2's magic.
You'll be rolling a d2, and the 1 and 2 correspond with the first and second magic listed as the "parent" magics of the Hybrid magic on the form.
If a customer does not list the two parent magics of the Hybrid Storkie's magic, reject their ticket and tell them to repost with it fixed.
