I redlined for you. c:
-LinesI just did a redline of the lines. Of course, my sketch is a little off (practice makes perfect), so I wouldn't suggest (nor would I prefer) that you simply trace over my lines. ^^;;; Also, the ears ARE off, so I would definitely suggest looking at some real photos such as
x x x x x. As for tips, though, in general: fatter head, snout length in general was pretty good but the angle was off, eye was too large, neck was too thin. I also drew in a skeleton for you so you could see, but here are some real pictures to look at as well:
x x I highly recommend drawing the skeleton a few times (and if you're interested, the muscle structure, too if you can find a good reference picture). It will really help get proportions, sizes, angles, etc.
-WritingI wasn't sure what you meant by this?
-ShadingI didn't do any redline shading, but here are some tutorials on shading if you need help:
x x x None of them are for oekaki, but I think you should be able to get the gist and learn from it anyway. c:
-Basic Lock Alpha Color InColor in the lines (any color) that you want to color. Then when you're done, check the box next to "lock alpha." This will make it where you now cannot color outside of what you've ALREADY colored in. This will also affect other layers IF you switch to them. For example, if you color in the "base" for the lineart and lock alpha, you cannot color outside that base. THEN, if you switch to the lineart layer (leaving the lock alpha checked), then you cannot color outside the lineart (that's how people make colored lineart).
I hope that helps!
