I don't mean we'll literally put 'big brother' in the comic, I was just saying that their relationship would be more like that than anything else.

What do you mean we won't literally put 'big brother' in the comic? Who said you meant that Druin literally had a big brother? What I said was that the tree didn't literally have thoughts, so Druin didn't actually have a big brother relationship with it at all, because it was really just a special tree, not a sentient being, so Druin didn't really have a relation to it at all. He has a strong connection with the tree, but I wouldn't call it much of a "relationship," really.
And, like I said, it's appearance and location, and quite possibly it's original idea, were based off of the tree from my dream. But only those things. It is not that tree. It is like that tree, but they are not the same.
And since you have no immediate plans, or and visible enthusiasm for the idea of Druin being an orphan, I say that he shouldn't be. I just have yet to give him parents.
You can hold off replying until tomorrow if you'd like, but unless you really want Druin to be an orphan, we don't really have much to discuss. Giving him a family shouldn't be too much of a struggle. It's not like having parents is a strange event that we will have to ponder over for long hours. It should be a simple matter of deciding what kind of people his parents should be, and how they've tried to raise him. We should also choose how well off they are.
Like I said, a simple matter, and it shouldn't cause much of a discussion.

That was not a joke. And I now have something useful to say:
Is Druin the oldest? Somewhere in the middle? Close to oldest but not quiet? Nearly youngest but for a couple siblings? What do you think? Perhaps we should figure out exactly how siblings he has/will have. Because who knows, maybe another will show up in a later chapter
Sooooo what do you think? Also, who is Druin's "favourite" sibling. I mean, who does he hang out with the most (I'm getting the impression that Druin spends a lot of time away from his siblings, but maybe there are a couple that sort of show their faces more, that he gets along with well? Like maybe a slightly younger one he can look after, or a slightly older one who looks after him?

He should have a favourite older brother, who teaches him and he does fun stuff with, and a favourite older sister, who is nice to him and cares for him. He should have his younger siblings that he plays with and takes care of, and all the middle siblings that don't pay him much mind and the older siblings who have moved out/are always working or with friends. There should also be a baby or two, and the guy who farms and lives by the swamp might be a cousin. He should have some older sisters (around the middle) who tease him at the dinner table about girls liking him. (That is, after his debut and all.) To which he replies, "Eww! No, really?!" And makes faces. They annoy them. At least they don't do it in public. There should also be some of his friends, one of which might be sort of like an adopted child to Druin's family, because if he comes for dinner without asking no one will notice. This he and Druin can get away with.
