Over on the right in the area that shows layers, there's a dot that says lock alpha. You have to click the dot first to lock alpha (note, unclick it if you need to color outside the lines), then change the tool on the left to pen or pencil, choose a color and color.

Plus, sometimes the oekaki freezes, especially with dial up. You sometimes have to re-load the color in.

I don't mind as long as there is no payments involved anywhere for any reason. I think character trading could be allowed though, again, no payments allowed and no trades allowed of pets or items, even off site currency etc. It's probably just me, but I prefer not to let other people profit from my work.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean about allowing individual base making though.. do you mean backgrounds or do you mean markings? Either is acceptable and I've even considered adding a different bg for people to use.

Also, if you're going to post it as a guideline for your roleplay, then make sure every single one you color in as a character carries the disclaimer to prevent art theft. Make it a requirement for anyone interested in your roleplay that they put the disclaimer in. It's the one stating about "not to be used outside CS and not to be used for profit". You'll find on the first page within the rules. Additionally if they color in for your role play and then decide to keep it, remind them that the post must remain with the art if it remains with my lines. You may edit anywhere as long as the cat remains true... like I said on page 1, if you can modify it enough to not look like my cat, then why do it ON my cat, lol.

Now, after I finally get caught up in my 2 existing adoptables, I may create a few colored ins of this line art and would allow people to bid on them to use as their characters... that's me profiting from my own work. LOL

Thank you for liking it enough to use it for a role play and btw, I love Erin Hunter's work, all of it.

I'm simply using this line art to draw out my character for a clan I made up when I was 10, and I don't want to clutter up the recently coloured box, so I'll make a base so everything's kinda in the same place..
I'm no good at roleplaying, so it won't be used for roleplaying characters either.

Ok, sorry about that, I"m not sure what you'd do with it then. It can't be used outside c.s. so I'm not quite sure how you'd be using it or maybe I just don't understand. I guess just for you to color in your characters. I posted in your art not realizing you'd posted here. I'm very tired and sorry about double posting.
