You can use minecraftforfree.com
but I bought it. Minecraft for free does not have multilayer though but still has single player.

The Magic Pie: The "Official" Release version is priced at 20 Euros... So its sort of hard to get an accurate price. Maybe like 30 dollars. I am not that sure... Check minecraft.net and go to store then see how much it is for a premium account. I already bought it so it wont tell me. But first you must register. The username you register with will be your minecraft username and you can not change it so chose carefully.
