History: yes, i can do this...
(in the beginning Cholena is a normal wolf pup, she's gray) Cholena jumped out of her nest, scrambling to the opening. She skidded to a halt in front of the shrine, flaring out her wings to slow her down. "Evriq!" She called, peering around for the golden-feathered owl. Cholena leapt onto the large rock, and sat with her tail curled around her paws. Moments later Evriq's golden head appeared from inside on of the trees that surrounded the large rock. "You're early." She muttered, amusement lighting her beautiful amber eyes. "I was exci-" Cholena started, but Evriq cut her off. "I know, dear." She churred, spreading her wings and gently landing on the rock. Cholena wagged her tail. "Are you ready?" She asked, barely controlling her enthousiasm. Evriq nodded, now fiddling with some leaves and berries. The owl mixed some purple...stuff...into a odd looking gloop. She finished some last touches to the potion and cleared away the mess. Cholena watched, her excitement now mixing with nervousness. Evriq finally poured the liquid into a small stone bowl, and pushed it towards the wolf pup. The owl pulled a necklace from around her head, and dipped the feather-shaped pendant into the potion. It began to glow purple. Cholena gasped and stood up, quivering. Evriq hopped over to Cholena and gently slid the necklace over the pup's head. Then she quickly stepped back as Cholena began to glow. The pup was turning shining purple, and owl-like wings sprouted from her shoulders. A mane of silver feathers grew upon her neck, and her tail became feathered as well. Her paws became the elements, and on her flanks glowing lavender spots rested. Finally, the necklace trembled and something yellow and green shot out of it. A small bird appeared by Cholena's paws, chirping franticallly. Evriq shook her head in amazement. "Look at you now." She murmured. Cholena gazed at herself. "Wow!" She gasped, testing her wings and tail. "Thank you!!" She glanced at Evriq, gratitude and amazement shining in her eyes. Evriq churred softly. "Name him." The owl pushed the yellow and green bird towards Cholena. "Hi!!" It squeaked. Cholena laughed. "Hmmm....Citrus." She sniffed the bird, happily wagging her new tail. Citrus sqawked joyfully, and fluttered around Cholena's head. "What is he?" She asked Evriq. Evriq laughed again. "He's your new companion. To help you and represent your 'inner feathers'." Evriq told her. "Now go and be free."
