Possible Species

Postby zoocyte » Sun Nov 08, 2015 6:48 pm

I doodled a thing. I might make this an adoptable species, if anybody's interested?
      Notes n' Stuff
-Due to their weird DNA, mutations are incredibly common
      -Very adaptable, found almost everywhere
-Have three pairs of limbs, the first pair have four fingers + one thumb which are very dexterous and are capable of holding objects, second pair are three-toed paws, and last pair are hooves
-Tails are usually long and prehensile for balance, but short tails aren't unheard of
-Males have throat sacs that can puff out like a frigate, their original purpose was to show off their dominance and attract mates
-Nowadays, males tend to inflate their throat sacs when threatened or angry
-Have evolved to have sentience equal to that of a human
-Mane length varies depending on habitat, those in cold climates have longer manes, and those in hot, desert-like habitats tend to have no manes at all
-Eyes almost always have some form of heterochromia, can have more than two pairs of eyes, don't usually have an odd number of eyes
-Ears also vary with habitat and tend to resemble that of the local wildlife, some have no visible, external ears
-Having dexterous fingers, they have a fondness for creating arts and crafts
-Love to show off their skills in creating items and wear at least one accessory
-Can fit in human society, however often attract lots of weird looks
-Come in a variety of colors and markings
-Sizes vary from smallest being as big as a Great Dane and largest are around the size of a Rhinoceros
-Nobody really knows what species they are closest to genetically, but they are said to have the blood of some mythical creatures running in their veins
