"Wait, something's wrong," Mirror told his new-found brothers Reupeurt and Duncan. "Where's Hamper?" "I swore, he was with us when we were finding some food," Duncan replied. "He told me that he smelled something weird, heading from the East," Reupeurt said. "He must've went east and got lost!" Mirror, Duncan and Reupeurt sat down and thought about Hamper, and where he might be. "Hey, Mirror," a sweet female voice called from behind the three brothers. "Who's this?" Mirror saw it was only Sherbert. "Woah, what happened here?" "These guys are Duncan and Reupeurt, my brothers, and these dead wolves are my old parents, recently killed," Mirror said with a sigh. "What's up?" Duncan and Reupeurt both said. "I have one more brother, but he's lost. My little sister died when she was 4 months old," Mirror told his mother. "Hamper is his name. My little sister...I must've forgot her name. But Hamper is lost! He headed east when Duncan and Reupeurt were hunting for themselves."
Meanwhile, 30 miles from Sherbert, Mirror, and his 2 brothers, Hamper was walking alone beside a river. "Oh," Hamper sighed. "I know I'm lost, and there's been no food for hours. I'm starving!" I think I'm gonna die soon, Hamper thought to himself. Behind him he heard footsteps. Out from the weeds and trees was Indian, just meeting Hamper. "Who are you?" Hamper trembled. "I-If you're gonna kill me, soak me in this w-water to make the bite marks painless..." He lay down and closed his eyes tight, waiting for his untimely death. "I'm not gonna kill you, silly cub," Indian said. "Hey, wait... you kinned to another wolf cub named Mirror?" Hamper stared in amazement at the thought that not only would he survive, but the fact that Indian knew where his brother is! "How do you know my brother? Can you take me to him?" "Sherbert adopted Mirror, and follow me if you not only want to live, but to see your brother again," Indian gladly agreed. "Thank you sir! My name is Hamper," the frightened green cub thanked Indian. "Mine's Indian, glad to meet you," the strong, gentle male replied. They went though thickets and mud and vines to get to Mirror, and to soon see his other 2 brothers.
