Running from a blank world...

Here is an entry for Tyr's drawing contest! I tried to draw a fox, it didn't work out well...it was supposed to be jumping a river...but that didn't work out to well :/ So I had a weird idea about something running from a world where nothing ever happened and....viola! I hope you like it, am I getting closer to intermediate? Thanks!
