Ayame held on just barely and scratched at his eyes angrily

Alex had slipped off into the lake and hissed,begining to run after Moorgrim.

Moorgrim roared and closed his eyes and flew faster.He blew fire and the wind blew it over his face and Ayame.

Ayame yelped in pain and fell off and into the lake

Moorgrim smirked and roared in victory,flying off.

Alex stopped and ran back over to Ayame,"Are you ok?"he asked with concern.

Ayame nodded weakly, standing up. Most of her fur on her back was singed and underneath her skin was burnt. "I hate it when dragons do that."

"Yeah,it hurts,"he said,motioning to his pelt which was also singed.

Ayame nodded and started licking her burns. She had now lost a friend. Will he be ok? She wondered

Alex sighed and washed the blood off of his pelt,"Garr,why does this keep happening,"he said and frowned.

Ayame sighed. "I don't know." she laid down in the water. It made her burns feel a little better

Alex sighed and laid down next to her.
