"SHUT UP!" Sabrina snapped with her eyes closed. She couldn't deal with anu of this guy's crap at the moment. Kirino was sleeping, when she woke up then they would probably ask her what was wrong with her then. "We need rest idiot, now be quiet before I strangle you" Sabrina wasn't usualy this openly violent, but her nerves were fried. She snuggled closer to Shadow.

I glared at Suzaku. I'd never liked the guy, he was so snobby and rude sometimes. But I wasn't going to sink to his level. I brushed a strand of hair out of Sabrina's face, "Be right back." I said softly, getting up and motioning for Zack.

~Max~
I felt a warm tingle from his kiss, my eyes sparkled, and I giggled like an idiot. I never realized how much I'd liked Epsilon before. Me and him. Him and me. It felt right.

[Nyne]

Sabrina kinda felt bad for what she said to the guy, but she felt about ready to burst into tears at any moment.

Epsilon's grinned widened at Max's giggling. Slowly he brushed his lips across her, his snake bite peircings brushing smoothly agianst her lips.

Zack led Shadow over to a tree and he whirled around to face him. "Look Shadow, I know you don't trust me. That was me. But I can't control myself. I mean, yeah, maybe it will be safer for the flock if I leave, but I need to show you something" he turned around and lifted up his brown hair to reveal a date on the back of his neck. In a few months. he turns back around, his eyes pained. "That's an expiration date Shadow. I'm going to die anyways, but I don't want to die alone. If I do, I want it to be with the flock. And the next time I turn" he reached into his boot and pulled out a silver dagger. "Silver is poisonous to erasers, kinda like werewolves. Hit me with it once and I'll die immediately. Next time that happens, use it Shadow. To protect them" he points to Sabrina. "To protect her". He breaths and looks at Shadow. "I'll go if you want, but with the expiration date and that dagger, not much chance I'll be hurting anyone anymore"

~Shadow~
I looked at him with my steady gaze. His eyes were no longer full of hatred and the cruel, bloodthirsty desire of an Eraser. They were clear and calm and I could tell that he was being honest. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, "Okay, Zack." I said quietly, "Okay." I took the dagger from him, feeling it's cool metal on my hands. Suddenly I felt sick. Would I be able to kill him? Swallowing, I slid it into my pack. By doing so, I thought, I'd made a promise to him. But I couldn't tell the rest of the flock about the dagger. If I did, they might want to make Zack leave so that would never happen, which was exactly what he didn't want. Giving Zack a slight nod, I walked back over to Sabrina and lay down again. I matched my breathing to her's to slow it down, and quietly drifted off.

Zack breathed in relief and walked over to a tree. He looked above him to see Lyra, sitting on a branch, looking down at him, Aaron on her shoulder. She jumps down and walks over to him. Now that he wasn't evil, she could relax. Zack sat down, his head against the tree and he smiled slightly as Lyra climbed onto his lap and sucked her thumb. She was six, but she hasn't sucked her thumb in a long time. He smiled and brushed a finger through her hair like he used to when Zack and Lyra traveled together. He closes his eyes, deep in thought. He almost wished Lyra had used one of the silver darts she kept. So he couldn't hurt anyone anymore. He knew that he was going to die, but he would rather die with his flock and from something he can't control than by Shadow's hand. But he knew that Shadow will kill him if he freaks out again. Not only because he asked. He knew that Shadow was uncertain of killing him, but Zack knew he was strong enough. He smiles, a little comforted by the idea as he slips into a nightmare filled sleep. Lyra smiled at Zack and looks at Aaron. "Can you take watch Aaron?" she asks her brother. Aaron nods and flaps his wings and flies to the top of the tree. Lyra smiles and hugs Zack again before falling asleep.

Suzaku looked ackward and turned away they had eachother and he slummped over leaning back thinking and ignoring the pain slizing through him it was something even he could not heal.

I felt a pleasant shiver run down my back. I felt so dizzy-happy. My god. Max the tomboy, Max the mutant freak, Max the girl that would rather have a switchblade that a ring, Max the girl that like killing Erasers more than shopping for frilly pink dresses. That girl- that very same Max- was kissing a boy. Oh. My. God.

Epsilon pressed his lips his winga little more firmly to hers and wrapped his huge wings around them. hiding them from the others.

Sabrina curled up to Shadow's side, tears leaking from her eyes from all the frustration, worry, panic, and everything else
