"What hap-" suddenly, it all came rushing back to me, "Oh no! Oh god- MAX!" I yelled, stumbling over to her. My arm still felt like it had been cut to ribbons. Max lay there, pale and motionless. I dropped to my knees and shook her shoulders hard, "Max!!!! WAKE UP!" Oh no no no no no no! I felt a cold sweat break out.
Max didn't move.

[Nyne]

Epsilon ran over and shoved Shadow off Max. He clamed her nose shut and opened her mouth. He placed his mouth over her, took and deep breath through his nose and breathed into Max's mouth, filling her lungs with air.

Sabrina shakily moved next to Shadow and layed her bleeding head on his shoulder.

Zack groans and opens his eyes weakly. They aren't blue, still their red, but he doesn't look like he wants to rip their heads off anymore. As soon as he tries to move, Lyra soon has a dagger to his throat. Zack's eyes widen when he see's Max. He quickly makes a decision and says to Epsilon "I can help"

[Nyne]

Epsilon lifted his mouth from Max's and bared his gold fangs, "Explain then" Epsilon snarled, always open for ways to save the ones he loved, but still angry at Zack for doing this

"I can absorb people's injuries" Zack says simply.

"I can heal" Suzaku muttered glaring at Zack his eyes full of anger as he slipped up to Max leaving Kirino sitting by herself.

This was so unreal. This can't be happening! Not Max! I felt helpless, watching as Epsilon filled her lungs with air again and again with no reaction. Max and I had always been like brother and sister to each other. We were the only family we'd had for the first ten years, before the flock. I closed by eyes to hold back tears. I never cried in front of people. Ever.

The world was a great big huge marshmallow. I can't really explain it, not really. I felt delusional. Confused. But at the same time, completely calm. Floaty, even. Like a dream, but I was half awake. Everything around me was a bright, blinding white. And I was just gliding through it. Not flying- gliding. No feathers brushed my sides, no sensation of wind through my wings. That's because I had none. I tried to scream but there was no sound here. Then suddenly I felt like I was plummeting. Finally, I felt feeling on my skin. Cold... so..cold.... my eyes flew open, the world was spinning around me. Not fluffy clouds, but Epsilon's face.

Kirino smiled she would tell Max was back that meant she could slip into the darkness of uncounseness where nothing hurt and everything was soothing to the touch the cool air helped. Kirino let herself slide there as she fell to her side unnoticed by anyone.

Suzaku reached out a hand and placed it on Max's arm helping to heal what ever was needed.

"Here, let me help..." Zack began, trying to get up, but Liddia pounced on top of him, knocking him to the ground and she literally hissed at him, her eyes turning red for a moment. Her dagger was to his throat and Zack wisely stopped moving. She looked at Shadow and says "What should we do with him?"

[Nyne]

Epsilon smiled a releived smile when he saw Max's eyes opened, "Hello there" He breathed relief flooding into his voice and chocolate brown eyes.

Sabrina hiffed in relief when Max's eyes opened fat hot tears rolled down her face and she burried her face in Shadow's shoulder.

Fitzwilliam laid a hand on Kirino's shoulder, making sure she was ok.
