Jay slammed his locker closed slowly stalking out of the school. He didn't want to walk home. He wanted to fly. But how normal would it be for a gryffin to be flying round?

"Could we walk to the forest and-" Liana started, then saw Jay. "Wait," she said. Then she started walking towards him.

Jay heard footsteps behind him and instantly spun around. It was the one girl. "Oh, hi." He muttered.

Drew gave Nick a look. "And I'll cheer happy birthday." Sarcasm was in her voice. Her blue eyes shone in the bright sunlight as they walked.

Lydia starts running down the sidewalk, auburn hair streaming behind her. This was her favorite part. The happiness. The feeling of freedom. But still. Lonliness. Sadness. Unnormalness.

You can either be stubborn and slightly selfish by assuming you're the only special, Winged One around here, or you can accept that you're not alone and come fly with me."
