Jace held his hand out stubbornly but smiling "You can trust me" he said sincerely "holding my hand will just make it much easier to take you somewhere" he smiled again picturing the place clearly, hoping she would trust him... Hed die if he didn't fugure out how her head works and that's allot said for an angel

Alyx looked down at the hand, outstretched and inviting. She knew that following the angel's instructions could get her killed, and she wasn't too keen on dying quite yet. "Or," she suggested, "You could just let me follow you. As you said earlier, I'm weak. I won't be able to do much anyway." She had her arms folded stubbornly across her chest, determined to outlast Jace. She knew that toying with angels was dangerous, but so was healing without feeding. And I've already done one, why not start on the other? she thought, a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth just slightly.

"you have trust issues" Jace smiled still holding to his hand stubbornly it was all he need to gain her trust but she wrote him off the moment she saw him not quite seeing HIM only seeing an enemy or something. Jace's smile faded and he looked her in the eyes trying to show her that he was not a threat... at least not now, he was in full control his mind not spinning one bit, slowly he let a smile creep back and carefully took her hand from where it lay on her arm.

The moment Jace touched her hand, Alyx's entire body tensed up. It was all she could do to not jerk away from him, and her instincts were screaming in protest as she calmly raised her head slightly. Don't be afraid, she told herself. You're not weak, no matter what he thinks. However, no amount of self-coaxing would allow her muscles to relax. So she instead stiffly unfolded her arms, allowing Jace to take her hand, and though at first glance she might have looked cool and collected, she was extremely tense, as if her body was prepared to take flight at any moment. She looked Jace squarely in the eye.

Jace looked at her smiling approvingly and squeezed her hand as darkness enveloped them turning into light and then bringing rocky mountains and ancient trees to sight. Not letting go of her hand quite yet Jace pulled her after him to a ledge where the sky opened up and the air tasted slightly of frost. Finnaly Jace let her go and went to sit on the ledge. The sky was pright blue red and purple swirls with two hawks chasing each other through the colour, under them lay the ocean so clear that you could almost see the bottom and the next horizon also filled with mountains and trees. "If you want to leave" he said carefully "just take my hand."

Alyx gasped slightly as her vision was taken from her as the darkness descended, but the next thing she knew, she was no longer in the center of the town, but on high cliffs, overlooking a dazzling ocean scene. "Where are we?" she asked, gazing around in awe. She had never seen anywhere like this before, nor had she ever met anyone who could take her somewhere like this. She watched as the two hawks soared around the brightly colored sky, swooping and diving, as if in perfect bliss. She barely heard Jace's statement of how she could return to her own realm; she was too caught up in what was happening right here, right now. A slight gust of wind caught her long hair, throwing it out behind her, and for a moment she closed her eyes, smiling serenely.

"Nowhere," Alyx said quietly. It was a strange concept, but then again, everything else she had heard Jace say today had been as well. She heard him say something about how beauty was special, or something like that, but her mind was too busy analyzing the vast array of colors and images that were spread out before her to try to untangle those words. She followed his gaze to the ship that was sinking into the ocean. It was a sad scene, though it had a beauty all of its own to boast of. To her, it almost seemed to signify the end of something great, but the beginning of something greater. Some things just have to fall, she thought to herself. Not everything can last forever. She looked at Jace, and smiled at him. It was the first almost-genuine smile she had been able to muster all day, and she never would have thought she would spare it for someone who she had only just met.

Jace smiled at her "ready to go home yet" jace asked while an even bigger smile toughed his lips, but then it faded as he looked back at the ship, does she really see me, he thaught most have called me beautifull, but she does not stare, it doesn't even seem that she noteses his thaughts continued. He looked back at her waiting for an answer, his sad eyes shining through his thick black hair.

Alyx smiled at Jace's question. "I suppose so," she said, offering her hand to him, though still hesitantly. She drew it back a second later though, when she saw the sad expression in his eyes. "Is something wrong?" she said, getting slightly nervous again. She wondered if it was something that she had done.
