Tobias
Tobias glanced up at the waitress as he listened to Hazle's order. "Er, I'll have the same," he said. He had glanced at the board advertising the day's specials momentarily, but none of them had really popped out at him. So instead, he went the way that seemed most simple to him and just ordered the same. That was normal, right? As the waitress left with their orders, he turned back to Hazle, not really sure what to talk about next. Briefly, he remembered their ride and flight yesterday, and the memory brought a smile to his face. "Have you said hi to Max and Charger today?" he asked, fondly remembering the huge stallion and the smaller appaloosa.
Alyx
Alyx looked at the place the angel had indicated for her to sit, and scowled at his observation that he could have killed her in a second if he had wanted to. She did not like being seen as weak, but that was something that she had always had to live with. She had always felt that her mother had made a mistake seeking a mate outside of the realm of demons, and she was the one that had to suffer for it. Tobias had inherited all of the strength, but she had nothing. She was just a weak succubus that had never been able to live up to her full potential, and that was something she had cursed her mother for causing for years. Hesitantly, she sat down a little ways away from this angel, not wanting to get to close. "How do you know I wouldn't have been the one to kill you?" she asked, sounding braver than she felt. She knew that today was the one day that she should not be antagonizing an angel, due to her weakened state, and she knew that she had never killed before. The memory of her mother saying that it was too bad that her one daughter was stuck being a useless weak pawn brought a bitter taste to her mouth, but she would not have anyone else believing that she was useless or weak, especially a possible enemy.
