- I sat leant forward, my elbows on my knees, as I texted on my phone and listened to the music on my iPod come from the one earbud I had in. It was a good day to be out and about as they say but my friend, Haven, decided otherwise. She insisted I'd take her to a indoor concert instead. Y'know, at this type of year you'd think they'd have it outside, but I guess not.. My eyes slid over to the side, casting a glance at Haven who sat beside me on the bench. I shook my head watching her inspect her current color of choice for her nails. Chuckling, I turned away, wondering why I was the one that had to be stuck with a girl like her on a day like this in June waiting at a bus stop to go to a concert and see a band I didn't know, all happening in a crowded room with a bunch of strangers. Though, I decided to be nice- with a acception of a new Xbox, and take her even though she knew I wasn't good in a crowded room with 99% of them probably being human. I had just zoned out when I heard Haven ask what time it was. I kept a straight face as I replied sarcastically, "Time for you to get a watch." I knew she hated when someone, especially me, acted sarcastic toward her making her seem dumb. Sighing with relief when she mentioned leaving and going to get something to eat, I stood up and put away my phone in my back pocket, along with taking out the earbud and wrapping the earbuds around my iPod before I put it in the brown leather purse Haven carried. "Feel like Subway?" I asked, stretching my arms above my head as a yawn came from my mouth. Since I was a Vampire, you'd expect to see fangs but after years of trying I finally managed to conceal them from view. Without an answer from her I took her by the wrist and drug her along as I made my way down the sidewalk toward my favorite restaurant. I knew if I had waited for a answer from her we'd be standing there forever. Haven was picky about her food and where she ate from, unlike me.

- Sitting and waiting wasn't any fun, but it was worth it. I had convinced my friend, Vincent, to take me to a indoor concert to see one of my favorite bands. Covincing that Vampire wasn't difficult when you put your mind to it. All I had to do was tell him I'd get him a new Xbox and he was in. I smirked as I looked at him, Sucker.. I thought to myself as I returned my gaze to my nails. I frowned at the paint that was chipping off before looking down the road for the bus that was supposed to be here fifteen minutes ago, though that was just a exaggerated guess since I had no way of telling the time. So, I turned to my buddy that did have a way. "Kenton, what time is it?" I asked, putting my feet down off of the bench and looked at him as he replied with a smart comment. I rolled my eyes and stood to my feet with a stretch. "Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not staying here for hours on end. Let's go get something to eat, I'm starving!" I exclaimed, feeling my stomach rumble with notification that I hadn't ate all day. Seeing him stand, I picked up my purse and hung it on my forearm. As he asked if I wanted to eat from Subway, I had already decided I wanted pizza. Though, Vincent knew me too well and drug me along behind him without waiting for an answer. I guess I wasn't getting pizza, and was getting a sub instead. Oh well, there was always next time.
