What Maine had said earlier seemed to tick Kate off. She stumbled back. "No, I won't be loved! Michigan and Illnouis hate me, Alfred probably does, Iggy, Yao, Wincosin, they all hate me!" She wailed. "But what do I care, I'm meant to be alone" She spat bitterly.

Tennessee hugged Penny. "Don't feel that way! At least short Tennessee gives you hugs, right?" She looked at the other states, and Canada. "Y'all get over 'ere and hug her!" She smiled widely. She heard Kate, and then frowned. "Hugs for everyone. Y'all need it!"

New Zealand giggled as she watched the turtles move in sync with her older brother's hands. She was amused by how good Australia was with animals- able to make then play with him so easily, even through a glass barrier, with animals who would usually shy away from anyone who so much as touched the glass, being accustomed to little children banging at them. Pirikahu let out a "Baa~" that sounded a lot like a laugh.

Maine took her sister by the shoulders and looked at her. "Thats not what I meant KAte... I meant I will never hate you... I know what you did..." She shook her head sadly and said,"You're not the only one. Kate. You did what you thought was the right thing at that moment... I can't say I will ever completely understand your feelings.. But I can say... I will NEVER hate you." She felt her gut ringing in pain,"KAte... Family no matter what. You know that.... You guys are the only reason I ever fight. You have to understand that." She was turning into her more sisterly form. She felt bad, especially if Kate still didnt belive her. She smiled at her sisters and looked at Kate and said,"I solemly swear," She whispered,"That I wont ever hate you." Then she hugged all ofher sisters, hugging them all a lot, but it was clear that Maine wanted Kate to understand.

Australia then sat back up, Indian style, and he started waving his hand kind of like when one's nervous and your hands shakes. Then the turtles tilted there head, and then starting waving their fins about, as if waving. He grinned and smiled at New Zealand. "Their my mates! They love me~" He continued with that some more.
