Kale nodded "yeah" he whispered, nidding

Cerise bit her lip and whispered, "Will your cheek heal?"

Kale shrugged "i dunno..." He said softly

Cerise led him across the hall to the study. She didn't know if there would be an answer here, but she wanted to believe it. If this wasn't a bluff, that it would kill them, they needed another way. She looked back at Kale and gently touched the scars on his cheek. She bit her lip, feeling the pain.

Kale winced as she touched his cheek, walking with her, he was prating they would pull through

Cerise bit her lip and whispered, "I'm sorry... It's just..." she looked down, removing her hand and biting her lip. She went over and started to skim through book titles

Kale sighed and joined her in skimming book ties, his head low

Cerise grabbed his hand gently. "Kale, I'm sorry."

Kale looked at her "its okay... im just scared" he said

"Scared about what?" Cerise looked at him and tilted her head.
