Toby murmered with a sheepish smile, "Brook, I um do sort of uh like you..." He didn't dare glance at her and was still shyly staring at his shoes.

Layla heard the bell ring, so she quickly gathered all her items and headed to the lockers. There, she unlocked her locker and shoved her books and binders into the small space. Layla was eager and anxious to go skiing considering it was much better than school.

Brook smiled. “I ... like you too” she said.
