Sarah giggled softly and smiled at him. She responded, "Why, thank you, but don't you think we should get going. I want to spend as much time as possible with you before it begins to get dark." Sarah stood up and ran her fingers down her skirt to rid the irritating folds and creases. Then, she slung her purse of over her shoulder and patiently waited for Lucas.
Layla felt a chill run up her back, but she couldn't understand if it was from the kiss or cool breeze that passed. She wrapped her arms around herself and replied quietly, "Actually, no, but I'm warmer." Layla could still feel the heat that lingered on her cheek and felt somewhat better and warmer. "Thank you," she commented gratefully, smiling at him.
Cameron barely even noticed the sweetness in Kallen's voice and didn't even realize it until a few moments after their conversation began. Even when the thought dawned him, he didn't exactly care and treated her like any other stranger. He nodded and responded, "Yeah, sure." Without another word, Cameron began to stroll towards the dorms in the school building and gestured for her to follow.
Will chuckled lightly and nodded in agreement. "Of course," he commented like the answer was so obvious. Will headed towards her door and began turning the doorknob that was locked in his grasp. "Where would you like to go, love?" he asked with a grin.
