Ali went stiff even though she had known that would happen, and tried to relax, but couldn't quite manage it. She listened and nodded, smiling slightly as the ball went in, but as soon as it did she slipped away with an apologetic smile. "You've been holding out on me haven't you." She exclaimed. Then again she had too.

Ali nodded, she had expected no less. "I figured, but I have to and I'm alright with keeping it that way." She replied with a wry smile. "Well back to the game then?"

Ali nodded. "Of course." She replied smoothly. She was keeping up with the act, that they were friends, but Ali knew better. She wasn't his friend, and he wasn't hers no matter how much they pretended.

Michael knew in the end that he wasn't friends with her, it may have killed him, but heloved her anyways. He kept telling himself in his head "You can't love her." Michael went and made another ball in.
