Mason acted quickly and pulled the dart out. It's contents had been Injected partly and already were taking its effects on him. He turned to Alice and pulled the dart from her slowly already feeling sleepy. His adrenaline was countering the shot but it's effects were still there after he turned his attention to the strange man. Mason slashed at the man aiming for the blow gun. If the blow gun was gone he could have a slightly bigger advantage above him.

Alice was immediately tired when the dart had hit her. She wasn't completely awake from the last dart yet so the new dart had a quick affect on her. She struggled to stay awake a help Mason but did not succeed and fell asleep waking up for a short while then falling back asleep again.

The man stumbled back his blow gun falling out of his grip. He kicked at the wolf blindly trying to follow the quick movements. His dog had jumped into action as well yanking the wolf off him and bolting over to Alice standing over her keeping her from the others for the man. The dog snapped at anyone who came close to her except the old man.

Mason figured that the wolf had the old man and he went for the dog ready to kill it if he had to. He didn't want to hurt anyone but he wold do anything to keep Alice alive and well. He would fight for her saftey. He walked over to the dog butcher knives firm in his hand as he approached the dog. A scowl was upon his face when he eyed the dog. Ready for some action he edged closer. He needed the adrenaline to keep awake, the adrenaline and the will so keep Alice safe.

Alice|Female / / / Strange Man / / / Strange Dog

The dog snarled snapping at Mason whenever he got close to Alice. Alice half-woke just as the dog leapt at Mason. That movement snapped her awake and she scrambled to her feet fighting the drowsiness that threatened to overtake her. The dog spun around distracted hearing Alice stir and began scrambling after her. The man kicked at the wolf before turning to Mason, his dog, and Alice.

Mason stabbed at the dog with his knives. He jumped back a bit surprised by the awakening of Alice. He shook himself out of the shock. He turned his attention back to the dog and narrowed his eyes menicingly. He took his knies with the same firm hands as before, he jabbed at the dog aiming to harm it just enough to where it wouldn't be a threat to them. He had a goal in mind and he planned to keep his exact words.

Paint run at the man and jumped over the dog,she bit as hard as she could, into his neck agin she jumped on him shoving him on to the floor,she tore into his chest with her claws,she got in front of Alice but continued to bite the man.

The dog yelped immediately fleeing the area as the man crawled back keeping an eyes on Paint. He turned his head only to see his dog fleeing and sighed. [color=#800080]"See, a demon. Possessing you only to have you protect her. You, Mason, are the most controlled. Once she is done with you, you guys will be of no use and will be killed. Do not listen to her." He said leaving Mason's house.

Alice was sitting down resting against the wall. Her knees had been brought up to her chest and she rested her chin on top of her knees. The dart had made her tired, she had only remained awake to protect Mason. Now that the job was done, she was slowly falling asleep. She stood up walking over to Mason and immediately hugging him burying her head in his chest.

Mason's hands released their grip. The knives slipped out and clattered nosily to the floor. He sighed tired as his adrenaline was dying and he was loosing himself to the state of sleep. He looked to Alice a bit on edge about what the man had said. He shook his mind clear. He was just trying to get to him. Mason smiled and embraced her also. He let her sweet smell of the faint forest mixed with his house enter to his nose, too softly to be smelt by mason but he could feel her warmness.

Alice collapsed in his arms. The darts had injected too much medicine into her that she would be asleep for at least another day. She fell into the same deep sleep she was in when she arrived at Mason's house. She was unconcious but at the same time, she was sleeping.

Mason let her collapse in his arms. With his last bit of strength he was able to carry her to the couch before he collapsed on the couch with sleep from the dart. He was laying on the couch, his arms wrapped around Alice. Somehow from the way he landed he was underneath her on the couch.
