Humans and Vampires- A thousand century old battle that we have all heard about, and one we feel we know the truth in... but the truth of the matter is, no vampire movie, nor book can ever begin to describe the troubles, wars, and hardships these two races have faced with one another. Would you like to find out the truth, once and for all? thought so... I mean, really... who wouldn't want to know the truth?!?

Vampires- An age old race, they go back as far as we can record. To the times when the Mayan's and Egyptians flourished.... wherever the human race lingered, Vampires could be found. Unlike many books and movies would argue... Vampires are actually quite normal, other than the simple fact that one vampire is capable of ridding an entire city of all human blood. Vampires live average lives, around 80-90 years. They are normal looking beings, unlike some very popular readings may not suggest. They do go out in sunlight, despite the fact that in sunlight, their eyes are are an even and sheer black... but they don't mind, it lets humans know they are among Blood drinkers, something Vampires always use to their advantage. Vampires, despite popular beleif, tend to be the more social and loving of the two races. Humans began the battle long ago, and they are the ones that have kept it going for all this time. Laws now prohibit Vampire/Human descrimination, but it still goes on, mainly in the High Schools that both young Humans and Vampires attend. Fights happen every day at these schools, and even outside of school. All young Vampires have supernatural, and heightened senses when they are in their teen years, but they lose the ability once they reach adulthood, around 25.
Humans-For thousands of years Humans have lived among the blood suckers, capturing them and using them for slaves, beating them, and trying to wipe out their race for good. Now the vampires have grown in numbers, and the humans and vampires are at equal... though the humans refuse to see it that way. Humans are more like the vampires than they would like to admit. Now, in 2030, Humans have adapted to living among the vampires, but the two races still share bad blood for one another. Almost all humans and vamoires fail to see the similarities between themselves and the other race. Humans can not get by the fact that they are the vampires meal, even though Vampires now are required to buy a synthetic blood from grocery stores, that gives them the same energy and nutrients, but it will never satisfy them as much as sinking their teeth into the neck of a helpless human. Humans have developed acute skills in the past two decades, and now all Humans are born with a speacial ability with which they carry and use throughout their life. The ability can only affect one sense, whether it be hearing people's thoughts, or seeing people's emotions, evwn something as simple as being able to sniff out a Blood Sucker in a room full of Humans... Human teenagers are certainly the provokative ones of the two races. they start all of the fights in school, and they provoke the vampire teenagers to misbehave, then resulting in it looking as though the vampires are at fault.

Sophmore year ate Indale high School is starting, and the teens are anxious to start trouble once more. Only, with the recent laws passed, passing all Human Rights as Vampire rights as well.... half of the teachers in the school are now Blood Suckers..... including the principal... Can the humans and vampires of Indale High overcome their prejudices and learn to befreind their equals, despite what they have been raised to do? i guess we'll have to find out, wont we?

Rules- Please be Semi-Literate in this rp... I will be extremely picky as to whom I allow in this role play. Remember, Vampires and Humans do NOT get along... NO EXCEPTIONS!! Eventually, and not all at once, vampires and humans will learn to like one another... There will be no power playing, or perfect characters, you will be revoked from the rp immidiately. Genders are to be kept completely even, and you must play out all of the characters you make. You must stay active in the rp, especially on the weekends. During the Week it is uderstandable to be on little, and on some nights, not at all... but i expect that if you are online, you will reply. Please, this is a normal high School, not a high school where every single child is emo/scene.... let us be realistic please! I think I have covered it all, lets just keep it PG-13, but definately encourage fighting, and of course forbidden vampire/human romance down the line...

Name- Kai Savant Zolona
Age- 15
Gender- male
Personality- Kai is very loving, and protective of his family, and friends. He isn't one to start up trouble, but he will fight if need be, to protect his loved ones. Kai is very bright, and funny. he is always in the center of the circle, making everyone around him laugh, and smile. he's a peace keeper among his kind. Kai was always taught by his father that the only good hman, is a dead and drained human. Though he no longer sees the race issue as such a huge problem, by no means would he ever be caught talking to a human. they aren't worth his precious time...
Ablity- Kai can heal humans... a strong and vital ability, though he has never used it...

Personality- Yureka is like her brother in many ways, she is extremely fun loving, and caring. She is always playing harmless pranks on her friends, and she has trouble being away from them. Yureka is very will-driven. She will fight for what she believes in, and has a raw stubborness about her. She loves to argue a good point, but doesn;t bother troubling over the pointless things. She can't say she understands the feud between the two races, but b no means has she ever spoken to a human, and she doesn't plan on it....
Ablity- Yureka has incredible intellect, she was literally born knowing anything and everything academic, so she rarely pays attention in class, and she has a 4.0 grade average.... luckily for her, she was born with an ability she cannot ose with age.

Personality- Peyton is very high strung, and extrememly blonde. She is fun-loving, and tries her best to be a true friend. She loves to listen to poeple, but sometimes she just wants to talk too! Peyton is anthing but prejudice, so she can't truely have an opinion on the vampires without knowing them personally...
Enhancement- Peyton is very good at what she does. She can read people like an open book. First impressions are everything to her, because she knows who you are, and what you are like fro mthe very moment she meets you.

Personality- Brycen is a tad hot headed. He has many friends though, and he loves to play guitar, and he loves to sing even more. Brycen can be very outgoing, or very reserved. Brycen is a hot head, as i said, and he looooveess picking fights with the vampires... he'll fight any one, any time.... and he'll win!
Enhancement- Brycen has no real enhancement, he's just realllyy strong:)

Personality- Alexandre could care less how Vampires acted towards the humans. Humans were and are only good for their blood, the vampires need them to live. But other than his extream dislike for most humans Alexandre isn't a horribly mean guy. He's a show off, and loves to be the center of attention.
Ablity- Alexandre is able to oick up on what ability others have. Yet he can't take their power, he can't defend himself from their power. he just knows what it is.

Personality- Cheree is more of a quiet girl. She doesn't love the spotlight, and she rather just stand back and watch everything go on. Cheree doesn't compleatly hate humans, she just thinks that this whole war, fight thing is useless. Vampires and humans will just never get along. Cheree is kind of the peace keeper between humans and her brother.
Ablity-Cheree is able to not hear, but see others thought. Kind of like predicting the future in thoughts. It takes alot of concentration, and she dosen't use it very often.

Personality- Valentine is a happy go lucky girl. Almost never sitting still, she loves to makes people smile and laugh. The whole war fight between the vampires and humans, is very important to her family, but Valientine sees it as, either she does what the vimpires what her to do, or become a small snack for them. She minds her own buisness and moves on.
Enhancement- Valentine can talking in people's heads. xD like, she can send his thoughts to people. it's only if she is close (as in distance) to the person.

Personality- Tristan is kind of layed back, and is always looking on the bright side of everything. Tristan is an artisic guy, he loves his songs, and anything that he can express himself through. But when it comes to the Vampires, he isn't so cool calm and colected. he is actually a hot head about it all.
Enhancement- Tristin can just by looking at a person, understand their emotions or how they feel. He uses it to make people feel better, or to know how to help a person, but other than that he find no real use for it.

Personality- She lost her Dad when she was a baby. Her mother never aloud her to talk to a vampire. So she never got to know any. Danielle is- sweet, nice, clever, outgoing, loving, bright, mysterious and she can have a bad temper if you set her off. You'll always see her smiling. She always wonder about how the Humans and Vampires never liked each other. She is very hard to understand. Danielle is shy and quiet and doesn't really open up to people intill she understands them. She keeps her distant from Vampires.
Enhancement- Danielle can hear peoples thoughts.

Name- Cyrus Ano Hawthorne
Age- 16
Gender- Male
Personality- Cyrus is, for the most part, a quiet, keeps-to-himself kind of guy. He only trusts other vampires - humans are ugly beasts that don't deserve to live, in his eyes. He would gladly off them all himself. He is playful when around his friends, truly a jokester and the life of the party. But put a human near him, and he goes icy silent. He is intelligent, somewhat, but he doesn't normally show that off.
Ablity- Cyrus can see and read emotions. They're sort of like auras around people, and he has his own personal (mental) chart of what each shade of every color stands for. He feels his ability is girly. /: Whatever. He uses it.

Name- David Edward Lee
Age- 18
Gender- Male
Personality- David is a kind boy, giving to others and helpful. He is loud and cheery, and he doesn't care who you are. He will be your friend. He is a bit wary around vampires, considering that they could take his life in less than a minute, but he tries to be equal and kind with everyone. He's sporty, bright, and always ready to defend his beliefs. He doesn't necessarily like arguing, though.
Enhancement- If he dreams - just day dreaming or sleep dreaming - he sees what is going on somewhere else, especially if it has something to do with him.

Gender- Female
Personality- Emery is normally a very quiet, secluded girl. In her group of friends - all vampires, mind - she doesn't talk much, she just listens, nods, and laughs a bit. She is a wonderful observer, and is often the one who knows everything about everyone - yeah, she's a bit of a stalker. She can just read people. She hates humans with all her being, as she was raised to, and won't tolerate them. She remains quiet and brooding when near them.
Ablity- Emery can take a person's power - for a short time, and it takes a lot of energy - if they are willing to let her do it. [I realize that her ability sucks. /: Pardon me, madame. teartear]

Gender- Female
Personality- Kalliope, sometimes called Kal or Kalli since her name is so long, is a cheery, bright girl who likes to make others happy. She is an expert at lying, and not as innocent a girl as most seem to think she is. She will not associate herself with vampires, for many personal reasons, and only sticks to humans. She is almost like a spy, and she can get you anything you need or anywhere you need to go without problem.
Enhancement- Kalliope can mimic any sound she hears - this includes voices. [Hahahaha, and her middle name is Echo. xD]

Gender-male
Personality- Chris has always been disgusted by the way the humans have treated him over the years, his dad had taught him to hate them, and never do anything for them, and never give them anything in return.
So that's exactly what he did. With his sister Lea at his side, they walked into high school together, hoping for nothing to do with the humans. When they asked him questions, he would ignore them, and walk away. It was the way he was taught, no other. On the other side, he has always been faithful to vampires, trusting them with all his life.
Ablity- He can take energy, which making him more powerful, he has only tried it twice, the first.. he ended up breaking his arm.. The second.. He killed his sister Lea while she was helping him,his parents always blamed him..he has denied doing it ever since ^.^

Personality- Ella is the quiet and shy type, she has never had much to say.. She walks away from vampires,
ignores them, or just sticks her nose up at them. She is basically.. a bit scared of them, which is why she usually avoids them at all cause.
Enhancement- She can in the future, but only when people are going into death..
