"Stop that," Kiriku growled, his kitty ears flat against his head in irritation. His shadow wound up around Nadeline's shadow, causing her to drop Terezi. Luckily, Kiriku used a shadow near the wall to catch the blind girl and place her down. Turning back to Nadeline, he said, "And I hope the do put you in one of those stupid magic cages. It would be one less burden on our shoulders."

Yuki's eye twitched as she smacked Manabe on the head. "I can't even read minds like Terezi-chan, but everyone's starting to tick me off," she muttered, her eyes looking as if they might burst into sparks at any second.

Manabe laughed again, poking Yuki in the stomach. "Oh come on, lighten up! It's not like we're about to watch our parents be executed!" He began to sound hysterical as he said, "I mean, I don't even have parents! They're all dead! All three of them! Ha!" His eyes had a panicked, manic look about them and his voice became high with hysteria.

"Let's go, Manabe." Yuki pulled on Manabe's sleeve as she followed everyone else. Terezi-chan, what's wrong? Why does your head hurt? Was it from the water earlier?

Kiriku reluctantly took Nadeline's wrists and bounded them with a shadow, not paying any attention to her threats toward Terezi. "Like she said, shut up," he muttered, scowling. "And I swear to god that if you try anything suspicious, I'll spill your own cherry blood." Terezi, calm down, Kiriku thought, looking around at everyone's agitated expressions.

Fenice ran after Gio, and stopped where the tip of the shadow rested. "Alright, so is it here?" he asked, already morphing into a dog to dig.

Yuki narrowed her eyes and poked Manabe back, but so much harder that it was more like a punch. A couple of sparks flew off her hand. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Kiriku flinch at the poison dragon slayer's comment. "Manabe, calm the f*ck down. Or I'm going to make you wish you had parents to go crying to."

(Oh gosh, Manabe xD -hides in corner- Who knows what he could destroy during his breakdown! xP)

"Dead. All dead. Killed by bastards. Dead and gone. Why? Why couldn't I protect them? Why am I so weak? I don't deserve this. I don't deserve the people around me. So why am I here? Why are they all dead? Why do all the ones I love die? Why? Why? Why?" Manabe rambled on in a low mutter. His gaze became unfocused by guilt, his thoughts fogged by despair.

I laughed at Manabe and said in a dark tone, ''Maybe it's not you Manabe-kun, maybe it's them who are weak.'' My bangs were covering my eyes as I hummed, ''It's not us who killed our friends, but it's them who are can't protect themselves~''

Terezi
''Everybody shut the f*ck up!'' I yelled and stormed to Manabe with a hand on each side of his face. ''Scalia dela dracona insalus casim,'' I said while staring at him. The spell was supposed to clear his mind and numb the negativity. I did the same with Misaki. ''Finallyyyyy some quiet.''

Manabe just stared blankly before singing quietly, "Woodpecker, woodpecker, pecking away at the trees. If you ever stop you'll die. As you continue wounding the forest you cry... Good-for-nothing little woodpecker, pecking your holes again today, ruining the woods in your wake. The angry wood god has poisoned your beak, poor little woodpecker. Poisoned nest, poisoned food, poison is all you shall take. Your very touch greets you friends with death... Sad little woodpecker, your poisoned tears shine so brightly..." His eyes glazed over as he sang the quiet lullaby.

'Thanks,' I told her mentally but no reply, she seemed occupied with something else. Manabe still sang this little melody that rang through the water molecules. Terezi tried to glare at Manabe as best she could then walked over to him.

Terezi
''Why do you think your past us worse than everyone elses?'' I asked and frowned. I did take a peak in his memories once, it was bad but it wasn't hell. ''Tell me. Why do you think that?'' Nadeline looked over at Manabe, ''Ever on and on we continue circling, with nothing but our hate in a carousel of agony, till slowly she forgets and her sanity starts vanishing, And suddenly they see that they'll never break free, He's slipping through the cracks of a dark reality, with nothing but the pain and the paralyzing agony, To tell they are who they were, Insanity enveloping their minds, Till they can't break free.''
