Stein sighed. "Okay, fine... I can't believe you would put something like that over science... But, let's do some sparring... Partners team up and choose an opponent... We're taking this outside," he said.

Soul blinked. "Hey! Wait a minute! My partner isn't here. That's so uncool; Maka chose today of all days to ditch school... And I thought she was a goodie-goodie," he complained to Stein.

Black☆Star nodded. "Yeah! Tsubaki ain't here, either! Hey, Soul, d'you wanna partner up?" he asked.

Before Soul could agree, Stein interrupted them. "No. Two idiots like you make an even bigger idiot when combined. Choose a different partner, or try to train on your own," he told them sternly. "Does anyone else not have their partners present?" he asked the class.

Akari slowly raised her hand. She wasn't really sure about being paired with anyone in the class just yet, she honestly didn't know any of them.

Sanna nodded. That seemed like a good idea.

Just then, Maka and Tsubaki burst thorugh the door panting. "Sorry we're late!" Maka said between pants. "Y-Yes, really sorry!" Tsubaki added.

Yuru sighed, looking over to Akari curiously.

Amaya sighed. "Hey, Markey, you ready to be awesome?" She asked, smirking lightly.

Chris smiled and set his feet on the floor, starting to stand up, his hands in his pockets, and his hair falling just enough in his face to hide his eyes, but not his crooked grin. Jake did the same, standing slightly behind his brother and to the side. "Or, just to make things really interesting," Chris said, his voice sounding twisted. "How about the two of us, against you two?" Jake finished, his voice equally twisted.

Akari nervously bit her lip and held her arms. She looked over at Yuru. "What do you think?"

Jack rose an eyebrow. "Aren't we suppose to practice with our partners?" She asked suspiciously. She didn't like the tone the twins had. 'Something's up.' She thought.

Sanna looked at the two concerned. 'I wonder what they're thinking.' She thought shuffling her feet.

Amaya shrugged. "See anyone interesting to you?" She asked, smiling lazily.
