Madi awoke to Hinfeyn's chirping. He was standing next to her bed, his head cocked. Madi pushed him away, smiling and got up, putting on breeches, a shirt, and a tunic. She pulled some salted pork out of a barrel and tossed it to Hinfeyn. He caught it with ease and squeezed through the window.
It really would be a good idea to make me a dragon door. He grumbled.
Or you could go through the front door. Madi shot back, smiling wryly.
