Maarif had a point. Even if the prince was dark elf, he was out casted, and therefore there would be no justified reason to attack them. Amadahy smiled. Maarif was certainly wise, even if was a little strange.
Amadahy bowed her head to King Aker. “Of course, father. I shall guide them to the east wing.” She went to stand in front of the human company, her bare feet barely audible against the floor. She nodded and gestured with her hand. “It is in this direction. If you would please follow me…” Amadahy began to walk away, casting a glance back over her shoulder, watching as her father began to talk with Maarif.
’He expects danger.’ she thought, studying the well-hidden expresses on King Aker’s face. With news such as this, he had every right to, and Amadahy wanted to know exactly what. ’I will try asking later.’ With that thought, Amadahy looked away and continued on.
