Rank: Princess of Eldrim
Race: Light Elf
Weapon of Choice: A curved, single edged sword forged for the purpose of speed and accuracy rather than strength. She is also proficient at the longbow, much like her brother.
Name: Amadahy Lightwing
Age: Very near 400
Personality: Amadahy is much like her father in some respect. She has a silent, firm personality. Her beliefs are strong and once she has made a decision, it is not often that she throws it away, and she makes those decisions based on what she knows, what she sees, and what her intuition and heart tells her keeping in mind that things are usually not what they seem. Amadahy has a noble spirit and generous heart. She is not one to hold grudges meaninglessly. To an extent, she doesn’t even completely distrust and dislike the humans that seem to fill their lives with reckless actions. Time can change everything, and humans have such short lifespans that she believes they are more susceptible to change than the elven race is, and most likely more willing. Each generation of humans bring new things, and Amadahy believes one must not completely judge a human by what the humans of old were. Still, her flexibility only goes so far. As open-minded as Amadahy can be, she can be just as stubborn and just as dangerous.
Trident, her companion, is a very strong-willed horse who is just as much Amadahy’s trusted friend as he is her guardian. He will never tolerate any threat towards her, and will always be the first to defend her. Trident is also always suspicious of newcomers and strangers, and his trust is hard won. Rarely is he not at Amadahy’s side, and there are not many that he trusts with her alone.
Amadahy and Trident have an oddly trusting relationship for a pairing that has been together for a short time, roughly around fifty years. Naturally, it wasn’t like that in the beginning. Amadahy found it quite difficult to gain the trust of the wild Pegasus, but after an incident with Trident’s mate in which Amadahy had saved her life, there was a gradual but swift growth in Trident’s faith. Part of Trident’s devotion to her comes from his determination to repay the debt, even though Amadahy insists that it is unnecessary.
