Alana
Alana continued to hack away at the creatures and had lost count after twenty. There were so many of them and their numbers kept growing to replace the fallen. She heard Sara call out "Fire" as if it were a command and ducked as a wyvern tried to knock her over with a blunt wing only to be charred as Falstaff opened her mighty maw and let fires spew from the very depths of her bowels. She almost wished that the dragon hadn't as the brief light illuminated the darkness around them only to show thousands of the creatures advancing from everywhere and creating a deafening hissing noise as they drew back for a few seconds at the dragons sudden flames. Were they to be outnumbered by these vile creatures? She chopped down another wyvern as it charged at her and she gutted it from the chest to tail and taking the brief reprieve to gather in her surroundings, Dante was fighting valiantly as he struck down his opponents with an expert hand while even the blind Sara and her horse fought off the creatures as if she could see. Aden jumped down as if from nowhere as he stabbed his sword in a wyvern's head that was just about to bite down on her as she gave him a stern but thankful glance as they fought back to back like two trained soldiers who had been at this all their lives.
Suddenly a thousand whistles split the air and she saw ten of the creatures be brought down by a bolt of arrows. She looked up to see light elves ,hooded and armed, as they set their bows with such speed she could hardly blink as they let loose another volley of the deadly arrows and took down several more. Soon within seconds almost half the wyverns were filled with arrows as they finally retreated in defeat and she looked around to make sure none of the bodies were of her comrades. She turned back around only to find that they were surrounded yet again ,by elves this time, as they all had their bows pointed and ready to kill "Why have you trespassed into our woods humans!" The voice was smooth and lyrical as a handsome and fair elf came forward while pushing down his hood. He pointed a long slender sword at her face as the others followed his lead and did the same to her companions. She was about to object when Aden pushed her back and spoke "Forgive us for intruding but it is unwise to hold up a sword to the princess of Windhelm." The elven male looked sharply to her as his blond hair whipped about him and his piercing green eyes held hers "Windhelm? Are you the ones who have risen the woods into the skies?" He had a stern look as Aden interjected once more "I'm sure all can be explained if you lower your swords and take us to the kingdom of Eldrim my good prince Rowen Lightwing." The elven man stared hard at Aden before finally giving the signal for the others to lower their blades with lighting speed and stood at attention. "I do not like you. Humans who know too much and speak too often are usually bad company." Alana couldn't help but smile to this comment as he took the words right out of her mouth and she spoke to Aden "I think I like this elf." A thin smile lit her lips as the elf gave her a mischievous glint before turning to the others "Come. I will lead you to Eldrim but you shall be my prisoners rather then guest, is that understood? My father ,king Aker Lightwing, will want to hear of the news you outsiders bring." The rest of the elven guard surrounded them and pushed them forward as they followed Rowen to his kingdom.
