Max shrugged. "Why not? It won't do any harm to know the others."

Eric stood, brushing sand off of his shorts. "I think that picking a leader would be a bad idea. I know we need one, but I think everyone should have a chance. We could switch off, maybe everyone has the leadership for a week, then someone else has a chance. That way we can find out who is the best, who makes the best decisions, who should be the permanent leader. That way, we can also tell who should be scholars, dedicated to finding out about the island. Rescuers, who keep watch for planes and ships. We should all share the work. Nobody should have to do more or less then anyone else. We also need a system of law. Punishments should be agreed upon by a jury in a fair trial."

ria nodded and looked up at the dimming sky too. "Thats good. hopefully you will get well soon." she replied, "And yeah, we should find somwhere for the night. i wonder what kind of creatures live and hunt here." she added.

She stood, painfully, and said "I'm Max Cooper." Milo stood as well, and brushed off the sand that seemed to stick to everything. "I'm Milo Crane, and this is Eric." Eric elbowed him in the ribs and he doubled over, gasping. "I'm Eric Crane, and we're brothers, fraternal twins actually, if you haven't already noticed."
