Kohaku just sat on the grass, looking at Hatori boredly. He scratched his ear with his foot, but that was about it that he did.

She stroked his fur gently, sitting in the closest chair to him.

"so. how old are you kohaku? 12?" he asked bored. Glass licked Shard' on the forehead panting.

Inu sniffed, his eyes turning red for a split second. He smelled Sarah, and it was fresh, close by. The sickly sweet scent was nausiating, but completely welcome to the mutt's poor nose. He rubbed his eyes, and looked around. Where was she? "Miss Nightingale?" He called. "Are you here?" The boy flicked his ears, scratching his strawberry coloured hair. Suddenly, he saw. A slim hand, sticking out of white, shining like flawed ivory amongst the driven precipitation. "Sarah," He dashed forward, proceeding to dig her out.

Michel purred while lapping up the milk he reached up and licked her hand before going back to the milk again, he soon finished and jumped down to her lap purring

"... im 10" Kohaku replied, sitting on the ground like a dog.

Sarah had drifted into unconsciousness by then, the cold and pain being too overwhelming to take on awake. Her skin was pale and her eyes were closed. Her face was tear stained, where the marks left behind by her tears had frozen over.

She smiled and kept petting him. "it's so much better around here ... because you came along and made everything better." she sighed happily.

Michel kept on purring, "well" he started, "maybe you just needed a friend...maybe we just needed a friend" he said looking at her, "well and...technically you saved my life, you don't have idea of how happy I am" he said and reached up to lick her cheek again and press his face slightly on her cheek loudly purring still

"i see" hatori simply said and yawned. "want to go home now?" He asked looking at kohaku softly.

He brushed her hair out of her face and held her close to him, ears wanting to break out of the ribbon to catch any whisper of breath. "Miss Sarah!" Inu hugged her close to his body. "Miss Sarah, please! Wake up!" He said, softly, lowly, eyes wide with fear, turning blue.

Sarah didn't answer ... her heat still beat softly in her chest, but her skin was cold from the snow, and her breathing was shallow. She was in a deep stage of sleep where it was hard to wake up from ... yet in the back of her mind, she could hear him calling her.

"your the owner ... isn't that your decision?" he asked sarcastically. "since when has a pet ever had opinion over that of the owner?" he huffed softly.

Accalia smiled and kissed the top of his furry head. "your such a silly kitty." she murmured softly. "but in the good way.

Inu blinked away tears, hearing her feebly beating heart. The boy kpet her close to his body, and licked her cheek, showing tiny pristine canines.
