"Meh, no not really." Kage then shrugged, quiet a moment, "I don't know." She murmured, "I hope she will be... whatever Johnathan did was not cool. I only caught part of the conversation of what he was saying and stuff." She frowned then and looked at Aiden as they walked, "isn't he um, supposed to be dead? Or is it just me that wasn't informed he was alive? They couldn't have miscounted, I mean, how can you not know someone is alive with so few of the family left?"

Johnathan had to keep from grinning with amusement as Rachel's cheeks reddened. Even though it was slight, he saw it. He cleared his throat and nodded, "yup." He watched as she ducked through the doorway and grinned sheepishly when she left sight. He looked sideways at Deryn with the slightest of a grin, rubbing the back of his neck, "I guess so. Just curious why an angel would like an annoying and childish person like me."

Aiden shrugged, "I thought he was dead, Deryn certainly acted like Johnathan was dead after the attack." He frowned at the floor, "Deryn did tell me he'd lost his dad, mum and brothers all in one day, so I assumed that they'd all died in the attack. I don't think he was faking either since he was completely distraught over the whole thing."

Deryn pulled his dad into a small hug and experimentally prodded Johnathan's back, ""You're yourself now? Completely yourself? Not going to run off after butterflies are you...?" Deryn frowned at his dad, and let go of him, moving back a little. "Sorry about breaking your nose..."
"You broke his nose?" Henry asked, slapping Johnathan's shoulder playfully.

Angela giggled as the wolf's tongue started lolling out of her mouth, "Hey who said I was going to ask Leon? He's not around, therefore, she is mine." Angela grinned and pulled the wolf onto her lap as she sat down, and continued petting the wolf." She looked up at Lars and shrugged a bit, "Can't you ring him or something to see what's up? Flick your eyepatch off."

Lars blinked, "don't need to do that... I could simply ask her" he pointed at the wolf and sighed watching them, "and besides I think I know what Leon is up to.... He sent her to babysit me...." he crossed his arms looking at them two, "that's why I called him stupid...." he groaned and ran a hand through his hair sighing.

The wolf actually laid on Angela's lap, it's tail thumping against the ground happily as she looked at Angela then at Lrs with a rather curious face then turned to Angela again and decided she was her new lollipop and started to lick her.

"You don't just pretend you're dead, it's just not cool." Kage frowned, narrowing her eyes at the ground as Charna came to mind. She scowled, shaking her head and rubbed her face to get rid of the school, "yeah, just not cool. Is he back to life or something? Did he even die...?"

Johnathan smiled faintly, returning the hug and shrugged, "I think so... I better be, dang it. As long as it isn't reactivated..." He chuckled, "if there is a real butterfly, I can't say, but no, not imaginary I won't." He ran a hand through his hair and grinned faintly, glancing sideways at Henry, "yup, but I honestly deserved it." He looked back to Deryn, slipping his hands in his pockets, "that's why I left though, I was under mind control. I didn't want to see you again while I was under mind control, not me. Who knew what Arren wanted me randomly to do. He told me to do what I did to Laurie then he told me later he just told me to do it because he felt like it." He pulled a face and looked at the door of the room that Laurie is, "do you think she would freak our again if I attempted to talk to her..?"

Aiden shrugged a little bit, "Maybe he's not even him and is just a clone... Are you sure we want movies? We could just grab some cookies and tail after Johnathan as if we were super secret spies finding out where he's been and what he's been up to."

Henry grinned and prodded Johnathan's nose, "Ah amusing, Johnathan actually admitting he deserved his nose getting broken." Henry smiled a little when Riley and Mason suddenly appeared behind Deryn, and raced over to him before almost knocking him over in a sudden hug. "Hey you two, I heard you blew up my house." The twins burst into laughter and Henry grinned, crouching down to talk to them.
Deryn shrugged a little, "I don't know, you can try, but I'd suggest keeping a certain distance away while you talk to her." Deryn pulled his dad into the room with Laurie in before Johnathan could make any excuses or change his mind. Laurie was curled up half asleep on the bed, talking quietly to Elizabeth who was sat next to her.

Angela giggled and playfully pushed the wolf back a little, before frowning a bit, "Hey is she like you and obsessed with blood?" Angela frowned a little, cutting across her palm with a dagger an then offering the blood to the wolf. "I can't remember much about before I died, but I remember feeding you my blood really wound Leon up."

"yes, I'm positive I want movies. I'm still exhausted from earlier and I'll probably end up making the most noise I can. Plus-" She raised her other hand where a small shadow appeared in her palm, "I already have a small piece on Johnathan. Just put it there actually, hidden in his hair." She smiled faintly and kissed Aiden's cheek, "he's a Cross, he would be able to sense our minds, it would be quite hard to be super secret spies."

"Heyyy... I'm not always a stubborn person with admitting stuff... most of the time yes, but I can admit stuff..." Johnathan scrunched his nose when it was prodded and raised his eyebrows as Henry was nearly knocked over by the twins. He smiled faintly with amusement and blinked and started to make a sound of protest when Deryn pulled him into the room. He grumbled to himself and looked at Laurie, and frowned just slightly, looking sideways at Deryn, the voice only to him, "she's basically asleep. I think it can wait until she gets up..."

Lars shook his head slowly "She is just an overgrown wolf Angela... That is it..." he mumbled and blinked, "hum... That annoyed him because you offered it and I didn't kill you" he said simply and sighed a little watching as the wolf licked up the blood anyway, he wrinkled his nose at the smell and took a step back just in case.

Nemerya just licked up the blood anyway before licking the girl's face once more and then standing up padding away a little, she stretched her legs yawning before looking back at the two.

Deryn frowned at his dad, "It's Laurie, she'll be awake for hours yet. Plus she's less likely to hit you if she's sleepy." Deryn gave his dad a good push over to the bed and then got out his phone to send a text to the kitchens that read along the lines of; 'Bring cake to the Cross guest chambers please, ask Rachel, I'm allowed cake.'

Elizabeth stroked Laurie's hair absently and ran her fingers through Laurie's hair. "Hey, will you talk to your uncle Johnathan?"
"No." Laurie stubbornly said.
"But he was under the influence of a curse mark sweetie, that's why he did those things. You know what a curse mark is." Elizabeth lifted Laurie up onto her lap and kissed the girl's forehead.
"They hurt..." Laurie whispered and frowned at Johnathan, "He made my head hurt."

- { Aiden Thorn } -

Aiden grinned and prodded the shadow on Kage's palm to see if he could get it to move a little. "Yeah, that's a big flaw in the plan..." Aiden muttered, pushing open a door that led into a rather spacious room where there seemed to be mattresses and duvets pilled up at one side, enough for four people. Suitcases were stacked on top of the mattresses as if Aiden and his siblings had been staying in the room for a while. "We tend to sleep in here if we're to tired to go back home."

The rest of the room was filled with boxes of chocolate and sweets, and there was a huge tv against the wall. "There was a sofa, but Mason created a dog that was big enough to eat it."

Angela looked a little crestfallen when the wolf decided to just walk off again, she just wished it had stayed around for a bit longer. "So he killed me instead." Angela got to her feet and frowned at her hand as it rapidly healed itself up. "His face looks amusing when he's annoyed." She frowned at Lars, "If you need more blood just ask, I'd prefer it if you took mine rather than killed something to get blood."

Lars nodded in silence, "he needed a death..." he muttered and sighed, "I don't like when he is annoyed... For some reason whenever it happens something horrible happens... You know I even thing second world war was his fault..." he crossed his arms and nodded, "I know that... I'm not hungry.. Just don't like staying around blood this much, specially other people's blood...." he looked at the wolf, "I'm hungry for real food..."

Nemerya padded ahead a little before stopping and looking back at them.

Kage smiled faintly, the shadows separating when he poked it before it twisted around his hand in an almost playful manner before it disappeared. She looked around the room curiously, "pile of blankets!" She grinned, the blankets already looked awesome. She looked at Aiden with a mixed of a surprised and amused expression, "Mason... made a dog... a huge dog? And it ate the sofa? How'd it even get through the door? Why- stories of your brothers are incredibly amusing..."

Johnathan grumbled when Deryn pushed him towards the bed. He only took a couple steps closer before he stopped, deciding the distance was reasonable. Johnathan looked down for a moment, rubbing the back of his neck before he looked back to Laurie, "I know, and as Elizabeth says, it was the curse mark. Mean demons told me to do it and I had to. I absolutely did not want to but I had to. Now they can't though, I don't have to do anything they tell me." His voice was gentle as he spoke, "I'm so sorry Laurie. I would never ever want to hurt you. Ever. I wouldn't even dream of it. I hate myself for doing it, I still do too. I love you Laurie and I wouldn't ever want to harm a single hair on your head."
