Kage gave a small laugh, "I'm just playing. No, I'm pretty sure you're not grouchy all the time, though you do make faces a lot." She poked him when he frowned with an amused smile. She blinked and then gave a small shrug, "I'm fine, it's mainly feels like a migraine. I've had worse then this so it doesn't feel like much compared to other things that's happened to me."

Johnathan murmured a thanks when he felt some of his energy be restored from Elizabeth. He gave a faint, tired smile and glanced up at her, "you can just call me Johnathan, dear." He watched them quietly with an expression that could be considered gentle. He shook his head, giving a small wave of his hand in a dismissive gesture. "There's no need for a thanks." He paused as he rubbed his shoulder blade again, pulling a face at the irritated feeling before he looked back to Elizabeth, "though might I ask you a question? I didn't get to ask Deryn since I couldn't speak straight enough to ask..."

Lars rolled his eyes at her and stuck his tongue out stubbornly, "it is the other side of the world." he said simply and nodded, "hear it Leon? She hates you...." he mumbled and laid back, 'Yeah, I know. You're in an infirmary. What have you done?' he asked, "got chewed by an enormous octopus-squid-serpent with sharp teeth monster.." Lars mumbled lowly in response and waited for the nurse to come and take care of his legs.

Aiden smiled faintly and put his hands behind his back so he could lean on them. "Angela told me that the pair of you got attacked by vampires, freaky sisters, and fluffy pink things. I think the pink thing is perhaps the worst thing right?" Aiden smiled a bit since he was joking around. "And I don't make faces..."

"Of course there's need for thanks, Rachel said he was close to death if his mind kept getting worse." She ran her fingers through Deryn's hair again and smiled faintly, "I'm grateful to fate that you had the power to help him." Elizabeth frowned a little and tilted her head to the side as she looked up at Johnathan, "Of course. Ask away." She jumped up rather quickly when Castanet started making a noise as if she was being strangled, and Elizabeth moved over to pull Castanet into a hug and whisper to her quietly to try and calm her down.

Angela shook her head and headed through the infirmary doors at a run, making her way towards the kitchens to go and find some food. She knew where she was going, she'd been here before.

Riley jumped on the end of Lars's bed as soon as Angela was gone and frowned at Lars's eye. "What did you do to make it creeeeepy?"

Lars opened his eyes for a moment staring at the kid, "Hum...." he placed the patch back into place just to annoy Leon and sat up some, "that is quite a good question..." he said, "How old are you kiddo?" he asked frowning a little, certain things had to be explained on a different way when it came to children.

"Does it matter how old we are? We come to a demon hunter school so we're old enough to learn about the dark side of the world, if we couldn't cope with that, we wouldn't be asking."

Lars rolled his eyes then and sighed softly, "Right..." he mumbled, "hum... The eye is a curse mark" he said, "Now I got it.... It's... Quite personal" he mumbled crossing his arms, "Though this scar here..." he pointed to one of the straight lines that went from the eyebrow down to the cheek, "was made because of your sister"

Kage gave a small nod to each one of them, "The vampires came during the first week of school or near there at least and I don't remember much of the freaky sisters... wait, fluffy pink- oooooh, that. Heh yes, pink was everywhere it was horrid. You're lucky you weren't there when that happened..." She faked a shiver, shaking her head and pulling a face, "horrible, yes it was." She gave a faint smile and looked at him, "you do too, and be thankful I said it that way.Trinity said that I looked like a fish when I made faces."

Johnathan frowned, "Rachel didn't tell me that, just that he was in a coma. Not cool... where did she go anyway?" He glanced around, and then told himself that moving his head much wasn't the best idea, so he set back to looking in the general area in front of him. He gave a soft chuckle, almost finding the way she worded things amusing. He jumped at the strangled sound and looked to Castanet with a small frown, "is she alright...?" He rubbed his head, glancing at Deryn before looking back to Elizabeth, "how long have you known you were going to have a child? Or did Deryn want to push buttons make me pull faces by making stuff up?"

Aiden grinned a little, "Ah but I want out getting injured by demons when you guys were relatively safe in the land of pink." He grinned a whole lot more when Kage said that Trinity had said she looked like a fish. He shook his head and grinned a little. "Nah I promise you don't look like a fish." He grinned faintly, "Ay, the council once filled Neui academy with Georgian filled nonsense and that was ridiculous too."

Elizabeth lay Castanet back down and pulled the blankets up over the sleeping druid. "Nightmares. I think anyone would have nightmares if they'd been through what Castanet has in one day. She's alright for now." She looked back over at Johnathan as she sat down next to Deryn again, and smiled happily, resting her hand on her stomach. "I've known for a while, ten weeks gone." She tugged her shirt back so it was flat against her stomach, showing that the bagginess of the shirt had been hiding her stomach. "Rachel's gone to get something for me."

Riley and Mason raised their eyebrows, glanced at each other and then yawned at the same time. Mason frowned, "Oh that's so boring, We've got loads of scars because of Angela, she tends to be a violent person."

"I'd rather have that then pink everywhere and have to wear dresses." Kage mumbled, pulling a disgusted look as she said dresses, almost like it was hard to even have the word leave hear mouth. She grinned faintly and nodded, "thank you, since I was starting to be convinced I looked like one. Angela even said I was a fish." She gave a small chuckle, "the council has problems..." She fell quiet a moment, frowning at the spot in front of her before she looked back at Aiden, "speaking of getting injured by demons, is the mark on the back of your neck have anything to do with this funny curse Angela briefly told me about earlier? Like.... is it really inactive?"

Johnathan gave a small nod, murmuring an agreement. If someone didn't have nightmares from going through that stuff, they wouldn't be human... well... a person? Yes, just go with that. A smile came onto Johnathan's expression, "that's an extremely great thing to hear. Though... that butt-" He gave a small glare at Deryn, though it was a playful one, before he looked back at Elizabeth with a smile, "-shouldn't have told me when he did. Almost lost my entire concentration when he told me. But like I said, that'a great thing. Congratulations."

"You would have had to wear a dress in the event at Neui, Georgians wore bonkers dresses and it was difficult to get past people in the hallways. They also wore massive, insanely massive hair." He nodded and grinned when Kage said the council had problems. "Yup. Many problems." He touched the back of his neck and frowned a little, pulling his hair up out of the way so Kage could see that what once was a mark had so many cuts through it that it was so disfigured it wouldn't work. "I'm positive it's inactive." He rolled up his sleeve so Kage could see a strange ink black curse mark there. "This one however, it became active when I was taken. It's a mark to show I'm cursed. Angela, Riley, and Mason have similar marks."

"Thank you." Elizabeth smiled and kissed Deryn's forehead, "Oh but you're his dad and he wanted to tell you what's been going on in his life... You're not going to leave before he wakes are you? Please don't. The pair of you need to talk properly. All three of us do." She frowned a little at Johnathan, "If it's not too rude to ask... How exactly do you look the same age as Deryn?"
