'Lord... This thing is quite stubborn to die...' he thought rather annoyed and let a bit of air escape him, it was getting harder to keep holding the air inside his lungs, 'die die die die die die die die' he thought slashing it as he could before his vision started blurring and he almost gasped then as the creature managed to find a way to try and swallow him and so he just stuck the sword on it's throat all the way he could and started cutting it from the inside as more bubbled accidentally escaped.

Perhaps her brothers had been a bit worried as the time ticked by and none of them made it back to the surface, whatever the reason was, Angela was glad to find Mason suddenly pulling her up out of the water. Her vision had started to go blurry and her lungs were veering on empty at that point so the help was appreciated. As soon as she broke the surface she was gasping for air, and Mason was helping Riley pull Kage out of the water and a far away from the river as possible.

Aiden had seen what Lars had done and dodged a few tentacles to end up right where the creatures throat was and where a sword was sticking out. He assumed it was Lars - who else could it be - and grabbed the end of the sword with his bad hand, wincing a little as blood started spilling into the water, before helping drag it across and make a big enough gap for Lars to get out of.

"I can't heal myself Johnathan..." Castanet muttered. "That's not within my powers. If it was within my powers you would have a voice." She changed gears as they sped away from the Lura council houses, "You, sorry for me, that's new."

"Be nice..." Emily muttered tiredly, resting her head on Johnathan's shoulder as if she was about to fall asleep.

"I can be snappy when I'm angry Emily!" Castanet muttered a few swear words and sighed quietly, "Yes it was Arren... Can we talk about something else please, it's hard to drive a car when you're crying."

The help came in perfect time because by then Lars was actually choking and swallowing loads of water and that gross creature's blood that stained the water on an awkward color that Lars could swear it wasn't red. He managed to wriggle free wincing as he moved his legs which apparently were pretty cut up, he managed to cling onto Aiden as soon as he could and tried then moving his legs just to wince again and kept drinking water until he managed to tightly shut his mout.

The 'journey' up to the surface seemed to take almost an hour and he just choked more as soon as he could breath and tightly shut his eyes.

Aiden grabbed hold of Lars's shirt and pulled him over to the river bank, hefting him out onto the ground with a bit of help from the twins. He did so as fast as possible so it wouldn't hurt Lars's legs for too long, and then gave Lars a swift smack on the back to help him choke up the water he'd swallowed. Angela gently pushed him over to Kage after a few moments so he could keep an eye on her and tell someone if she was close to waking up.

Angela sat down next to Lars and carefully helped him sit up, "Okay, getting eaten is the stupidest thing to do ever... You're a nutter Lars."

Lars coughed harshly still trying to get whatever was on his lungs out, he winced as he was dragged and just says laid there trying to recover his breathing when Angela helped him sit up, he let go off the katana then and rolled his eyes a little glancing sideways at her, "I killed it... Or almost did... With a hole big enough for me to pass on it's neck that thing can't live for long..." he coughed again and shook his head to shake water away from his eyes before looking at his legs, "I seriously hope that thing wasn't poisonous...." he muttered they seriously weren't on a pretty state.

He whined and sighed, "right I agree with you" he mumbled, "it was the stupidest thing to do but it sort of worked.... As...I ... Planned... I think" he mumbled, "and I'm still hungry..." he mumbled.

Angela glanced at Lars's legs and nodded, "Yeah let's hope it wasn't poisonous..." She pulled a face when he said he was hungry, but didn't say anything as she held out her wrist. Her previous wounds had already begun to heal, so there was a wound on the back of her hand rapidly closing up. "You may have killed it, but you almost killed yourself in the process." She hit him over the back of the head playfully.

Lars blinked staring at her wrist, "this is so mean..." he mumbled though taking it on his hands, he winced slightly more by being taken by surprise by the playful hit then any sort of pain, he looked at her, "and what a loss would it be if I died" he said sarcastically, "I bet the whole school would be crying missing me" he rolled his eyes, "I'm an idiot Angela, it wouldn't really make a difference if I died or not..." he mumbled biting her wrist smoothly then and closing his eyes slightly as he drank.

Angela winced when Lars bit her wrist, and carefully moved to a more comfortable position so her arm wasn't twisted horribly. She ended up sat next to him with her head on his shoulder. "Well I wouldn't cry. But I would be upset. You are a friend after all." Angela frowned at her wrist, "You're a bit like a vampire, you realize?"

Lars kept his eyes closed listening to what she said and sighed softly drinking for a little longer before slowly letting go and licking the place a few times until blood had actually stopped to flow out and sighed nodding, "I do realize..." he mumbled, "blame it on Leon" he groaned and frowned looking at the knocked out Kage then, "hum... Please tell me she didn't get knocked out because she tried to save me"

Angela shook her head when Lars asked her about Kage, "From what I saw she was already knocked out when my brothers came into the river. She's asleep, she's breathing so I assume she's just asleep. There's scratches and stuff but I think she's fine." Angela ran her finger over the bitemarks on her wrist as they began to heal up. "You're not hungry anymore are you Lars? If you need more then you'd better tell me."
