Should we live to expectations - Or fight to break them?
Destruction, death and horror!

"I would prefer not knowing if I was going to die tomorrow or something like that. If I was supposed to die tomorrow in battle and he told me that, I would know I was going to die and would have admitted I would die, then I wouldn't fight as well as I possible could and then it would be my fault I had died." Trinity reasoned and then yelped and struggled when Esme picked her up. Whimpering she backed away from Esme when she was set down on the shelf.

Trinity frowned a little at Esme, "You better not die, if you do I might have to bring you back and murder you myself." She frowned at Esme, "Is that it, you just keep drinking Holy wat... That's only going to prolong your life isn't is? Or something else because demons are annoying-- Wait if you drink Holy water won't it get rid of the weird liquid stuff, and if you do that, where's the blood that's going to keep you alive after?"

She frowned at Esme for a few moments longer before sighing and walking over to the cave door, "Fine I'm going, I want to go see what the builders are up to anyway. And tell them that it's a bad idea to think about opening any of the cupboards in my classroom... I definitely didn't fill the cupboards with demons. Nope. Haven't got my own Minotaur named Bloopy bloop bloop the second. Bloopy bloop bloop the first had an unfortunate accident..."

Hearing more, seeing more, is that really living more?
By that sin fell the angels.

Damien shrugged, "It's the only way to stop Trinity stealing my credit cards she thinks I don't know about it, but to be fair I haven't taught her that you can check a credit card balance. Anyway, we should probably go now since by time differences, it's about midnight here, which means there will be security guards." He shrugged and slipped back through the doorway into Lii.

- { Angєlα Décès } -
A bullet to the heart is no way to live.

"I'll talk to him then." Angela shrugged, "And you can talk to me and that'll work right? Just as long as the pair of you don't get gross and sentimental." She took the hand offered and stumbled to her feet. "Shadows are pretty useful..." Angela mumbled and then grinned. She started looking around for the two teachers, checking underneath tent flaps to see if she could see Caia or Trinity. She pulled Kage along with her, occasionally checking to see that Kage was not falling into shock or anything.

.* Caia Grey *.

Caia rolled her eyes and followed Damien. "Oh, what's so suspicious about a man and a woman in a dark, closed store, taking a remote controlled fire truck after paying for it with a magical wrist scanner?" She looked back as Damien closed the door. "Were there any security cameras?" She forgot to even think about it.

Sometimes, what's best for others overrules what's best for yourself.
Peace begins with a smile.

Elizabeth had managed to convince Deryn into sitting down on the sofa and not breaking any more vases or plates, or windows... "Sorry, I promise he won't do it again, he's just a little shocked..." She apologized to the man who came round to replace the window, and then moved out of the way so he could get past to do so. She made her way into the living room and dropped down to sit next to Deryn on the sofa, resting her head on his shoulder. "We're acting more and more like a couple. It's freaky."

"We should argue less then." Deryn replied, which caused Elizabeth to start laughing. "He hasn't seen me for a year and he goes off to chase butterflies like he doesn't even care."

Elizabeth smiled faintly, he probably doesn't want to tell you, though you should apologize, he's your dad and you have catching up to do. If he still behaves like an idiot I will personally throw a pie in his face for you."
"Deal." Deryn nodded and then closed his eyes, removing the block he'd put over his mind before attempting to have a conversation with Johnathan. 'So...um... You disappeared, and I'm a zebra."

~Johnathan Cross~
Johnathan was surprised at how quickly Deryn had taken the block down and decided to talk to him. ‘Hmm… I do believe you’re not a zebra, Deryn, unless you are half london or drank something that made you turn into one.' He chuckled slightly and then sighed, ‘Yes, I did disappear, and I apologize for that. And for acting like an idiot. Though you should know that I do act like that a lot… then again you really only knew me as a Councilor…’ He turned his attention to Valentine, “I don’t know if I should try this mind battle or not. I’ve had plenty with Deryn.” He gave a slight shrug and raised an eyebrow, “Ohhh really? Well I think I appreciate that…” He listened to the question, and then as he rephrased it. He was quiet for a while before he smiled just slightly, “No, no it’s not.” The way the Councilor had worded the question, he could actually answer it honestly, and not have to lie or avoid the question completely because of the mind control.

~Kage Pearce~
Kage smiled slightly, “I don’t think it’ll go that far with talking through you.” She said, and pulled her up to her feet. She followed after Angela, her hands slipped into the pockets of her jacket. She was quiet, occasionally glancing down at her whip. It nagged at her thoughts as she tried to figure out what Angela meant by it had something to do with her whip. It originally had been her mother’s before she found it in her shadows a couple years after the raid, and she had no idea if that had to do with anything at all. She frowned slightly as she thought and then shook her head, ‘figure it out later, focus on finding teachers to throw cake at.’

What would you do to survive? If killing was the only option to live in the world falling apart, filled with infected. To get food, weapons, gear, anything and everything, your hands would be left unclean. What would you do?

'Do not burst my bubble of optimism. I'm a zebra. I look like one, therefore I am one.' He opened his eyes slightly when Elizabeth kissed his cheek and walked off now she trusted him not to break anything else around the room. 'Great, you should be the councilor again then if it's going to stop you from being an idiot. I am bored out of my mind. Oh and I could beat you anytime in a mind battle.' Deryn was joking on the last part, other than when he was angry, or when he was younger wanted more pocket money, he didn't often resort to attacking his dad's thoughts. He looked over at the small kitchen in the corner of the room when Elizabeth called his name, and then ducked when she threw a kitchen cloth at him. He pulled a childish face and rolled off the sofa, ducking down behind the table when she started laughing.

Angela messed up Kage's hair and pulled her into a cake tent, picking up a random cupcake and passing it to her. "Eat that, you need sugar, you look like your best friend just died, came back to life-ish and just had a conversation with your dead brother. Psh can't be that bad." She grinned and picked up one for herself, picking at the icing as she walked around.

"It's not as bad as it sounds, I teach hunting class, which means I get to unleash demons on groups of kids whenever I get bored... Only I haven't been teaching recently because we keep getting attacked by demons and I keep getting beaten up." Trinity yawned a little, still sleepy despite the small sleep she'd had earlier. "There's a Fade in the school? I thought they got rid of the one possessing the student a while back...? I was probably unconscious when the new Fade showed up, fill me in."

She backed away a little from the creepy heirloom that grew and shrunk on demand. "Seriously what is that thing? And you need to tell me if it talks to everyone because I already have one voice in my head, I do not need another." She was tempted to attempt to bite it to see if it did anything, but remembered that she'd been told by one of the Harrisons, touching anything other than the handle is bad.

"I think it would be more suspicious if we were dressed as zombies and randomly showed up in the room to dance around for a bit and then suddenly disappear into thin air." He shrugged and closed the door and left it to Solace to sort out since he'd fallen out with it. He started to free the fire engine from the box and shrugged. "Give us angels some credit, when you open the door it turns off security cameras in the area. We left the door open so the cameras were off." He set the fire engine on the floor and picked up the remote control, sending the fire engine driving off down one of the corridors. "Plus, this is for a very good cause." He nodded as if it was something completely serious and sent the fire engine off in the direction of the room Abby was in.

"Ah see I'd be safe, I'm an artificial halfling. Being weird does have it's uses... And I'm a kitten..." She tailed off for a moment before looking up at Esme, "Hey wait what!? My forest!? But... I don't want murdered people in my forest... I like my forest..."

Trinity frowned a little at the scepter and then at the scar, and then at Esme. "Oddly enough, I wasn't told this before it was handed to me. I might have to murder Eli and Valentine later..." She looked down at her fluffy kitten form, "A lot later. Who's they?" She frowned at the scepter as if it suddenly might become a group of people. "I don't do well with ghosts... You can't exactly hit them." Though there had been a time when tasering a ghost had been thrown round for discussion.

Destruction, death and horror!

Trinity frowned at the strange doorway thing that Esme managed to create by pointing the 'curtain rail' at thin air. True it seemed like a pretty cool magic rod, but Trinity preferred her teleporting any day, that portal looked deadly. Like a guillotine. Nasty.

She checked the cave was as hidden as it had been before she'd gotten there and then took the shortcut to school. Some of that handy teleporting power that she had a lot of. She had teleported to her room, and found that beds were brilliant fun when you were kitten sized, she got distracted for a short while, running around on the duvet and smashing into the pillows. Dizzily - because she'd just run in circles around the bed for the good part of ten minutes - she clambered down off the bed via the drawers. Thankfully the builders had left the door open since they seemed to be replacing the metal doors with the old wooden ones. She had no trouble slipping outside and racing down the stairs - which were a bit scary when you're a tiny kitten - into the basement where her classroom was.

It wasn't filled with dust like you'd expect from Trinity's classroom. She didn't use it for teaching but she used it a lot. There were markings and circles drawn all over the floor in chalk and rattling cupboards either side of the long hall-like room. She ignored the cupboards, and frowned at the builder who'd been about to open one of them. "I wouldn't if I were you. The thing in there will bite your arms off." The builder frowned at the talking cat and decided that this room was a little too freaky to mess about with. Trinity watched hi, leave and then clambered onto the desk to fall asleep.

.* Caia Grey & Abigail Atlas *.

Right. Dancing zombies. Caia supposed it would be more suspicious... and unlikely. But it was pretty neat that opening doors to angelic realms made it so that there was no evidence of it actually happening. In defeat, Caia held up her hands. "Fine. I give you guys the credit you deserve." She watched quietly as Damien drove the fire engine through the library, wondering if he was even allowed to do it. "Oh yeah... remind me again why you wanted to buy a toy fire engine? Early mid-life crisis?" If so, it was a pretty mild one. Amos had told her stories of his mid-life crisis... it might as well have been classified has an international threat.

Abby was distracted from the picture books surrounding her as she heard voices, lifting her head up off her hands. Then she heard the sounds of something... electronic? Not something she would hear everyday at Lii. Curious, Abby got to her feet and went to the bottom of the basement stairs. The door was left slightly open, so she couldn't see out of it very well, but as Abby climbed the stairs, she thought she heard Damien's voice. He was back already. Eagerly, Abby climbed the rest of the stairs, and pushed open the door to be met with a little fire engine.

She looked down on it silently in surprise, and then let out a shrill scream of excitement. "Fire...fire...!" She couldn't even complete a small phrase. As the truck back up and turned, driving in the opposite direction, Abby chased after it enthusiastically, following it until it led her back where it came from. "Damien!" she cried out, her eyes all lit up. Once she reached him, she jumped up and down in place, the excitement bursting at the seams, and waved a finger at the toy engine. "Look, look! Fire engine! Little one! Yours? Yours??" Her eyes found the remote in his hands, and still jumping up and down, she waved another finger at it. "For fire engine? I try?? Please!"

.* Delivering fate to the doorstep, and where ever else it is needed *.

Damien nodded, "Yep, this is totally my mid-life crisis. I'm only going to live for twenty-two more years." He grinned as Abby finally showed up and started jumping up and down on the spot as if she were a firework ready to explode. He passed her the remote once she asked for it and nodded, "Abby you can keep the fire engine, I don't really think I'd be allowed one at school." Though it would wind the students up... Maybe he'd consider his own remote control helicopter but not right now.

"Just don't crash it into anything, the council will probably not murder me but... Actually I don't think they'll do anything, as long as you don't crash it into me, Caia or Solace everything is well and good. Oh and the windows. No smashing the windows. I'll definitely get told off if that happens again..." Damien pointed out the controls and then moved out the way to let Abby play with the fire engine for a while since she was the kid and he was the adult and he should probably grow up and stop playing with remote controlled toys.

((Any council members in the next event need to start heading over to the school - same applies for teachers. Just have something like they get given a message to go to the school or something like that... You have an imagination I'm sure you'll think of something.))

.* Caia Grey *.

Abby had barely even registered Caia's existence before she found out she could keep the truck, but afterwards Caia realized that she might as well be invisible. And after Damien relinquished control, he might as well have been invisible, too. She watched as Abby raced off with the fire engine right next to her, giggling each time it bumped into something. "You bought it for her?" Caia smiled slightly as Abby ran around the room and every open doorway. "That is... very sweet of you. I'm pleasantly surprised." She tapped Damien lightly on the shoulder with a fist. "Nice work."

Damien chuckled a little when the fire engine bumped into something else and shrugged a little, "Well I haven't gotten to my mid life crisis just yet Caia, when I do I plan on painting the school orange and flying banners out of every single window and making everyone skateboard to each and every lesson. That was a joke if you didn't catch it." He grinned a little childishly and started making his way back over to the door, "Come on, we may as well go, she'll play with that until the batteries run out... What do you mean by surprised? Am I not normally nice?"

Water is neither friend, enemy nor equal.

The grumpy man and the freaky lady - as dubbed by Deryn who had given named to each of the councilors and not told them about it - had also found themselves teleported to school. Adelaide had convinced Thorisan to go with her just in case anything weird and creepy happened. Again. Thorisan had agreed as long as he didn't have to go near Damien or Trinity.

Thorisan frowned a little as the arrived, glancing at the stone academy that caused more trouble than any of the other academies. Another reason he'd agreed to come was to find out what his brother actually got up to to manage to cause so much trouble. That and he was getting away from the carnival.

Adelaide led the way inside, apparently they were meeting up with everyone in the council office which was opposite to Damien's office. She dropped tiredly into one of the chairs once she got into the office and Thorisan took up a chair too as they waited for the rest of the group to show up.
