When life is laid out before you, fight to break free.
Castanet had been about to reply to Griffon, but the thought of even doing so was wiped from her mind when she heard Johnathan's voice interrupt her thoughts. She just started at him as if he'd woken from the grave - which was close since she'd assumed he was dead. Quietly she reached over and gave him a good sharp prod in the shoulder to check if he was really there, which he was, which she didn't really see as good. "I'm sorry..." She whispered quietly once she'd begun to get over the shock of it, moving back to stand slightly behind Griffon. She was worried Johnathan might see fit to hit her.

A bullet to the heart is no way to live.
She hadn't really fully expected Kage to just go and straight away smack the teacher in the face with a cake, it caused her to burst out laughing, so she took a picture with her phone as fast as she could and she sent the other cake sailing in his direction before racing off as fast as she could out of there. She laughed all the way as she ran off and collapsed to sit on the floor behind a circus tent as she waited for Kage to show up.

Sometimes, what's best for others overrules what's best for yourself.
Deryn just watched the whole scene unfold with an expression quite close to shock, which then turned into laughter. "I'm sorry I would have warned you but I didn't know they were planning that." He shook his head, covering his mouth with a hand to shut up his laughter and then made his way over to the tables, finding a few cloths which he passed to Cordell to help with the whole cake related problem. He sent a quick message to the council staff to ask them to bring a fresh change of clothes over and then searched out the mind that he was sure he'd seen somewhere before.
'Kage. That was a load of perfectly good cake you ruined, well done it was hilarious.'- { Jαcksσn Emσrч & Rískч Mídmσσn } -
After all - A candle can be extingished by a simple breath.
"Indecisive much." Jackson commented as Lars started clinging to a post and looking like he might see a return of his last meal. "Grow up. Childish. I thought you acted like a scary lunatic... And you're scared of a roller coaster?"

Should we live to expectations - Or fight to break them?
Destruction, death and horror!
Trinity grumbled a little when there was a log in the way, and attempted to jump onto it but ended up falling off. In the end she teleported on top of it and then leaped down to the ground the other side. "I don't care how many flying monkies Cordell gives when it comes to the council, my reasons are personal for taking those files. Keep pulling faces, I will prove how stupid the last council were." She was heading for a cave that seemed to be set into the cliff face. You'd only know it was there if someone had shown it to you, it was cleverly disguised by a variety of plants. Trinity pushed through a bunch of leaves to where a path started up behind them and led to the hidden entrance. She slipped inside, and waited for Esme to catch her up before she teleported up onto one of the shelves around the side of the room. There was nothing on the shelves, not until Trinity started muttering and then they became filled with files and boxes of files that all had symbols on the sides to make sure that no one could take them out of the cave. Trinity ignored most of it, and then teleported a few sheets out of the box closest to her into Esme's hands. The sheets that described the experiments done to Trinity and Damien that had all the councilor's signatures from twenty years ago. "So, we are agreed, the last council is idiotic. I wasn't kidnapped, they were quite happy to send me off to the Otherworld so no one would know about me. Even my mum and dad signed that, they were councilors at the time."
