Stab me in the back metaphorically, I'll return the favor literally.
A bullet to the heart is no way to live.

It was as if Aiden had never been asleep and Angela had never been joking about cutting his hair. The siblings were imediately pointing guns at the panther that had just pinned their friend to the floor. Aiden had conjured up the guns and sat bolt upright, Angela had simply had to catch one of the guns and point it. They raised their eyebrows in unison at the panther and Angela proceded to tackle Hikaru, slamming into his side to knock him off Kage.

"That's not nessecarily a good idea, since he's a big scary panther and none of the kids who are already jumped up and freaking out at the moment are going to waste time sticking a sword through him." Castanet was just glad the shadow panther was literally made of shadows.
Adelaide smiled and nodded, "Right, I'll tell everyone else where you're off to, don't worry about it." She nodded, completely oblivious (or pretending to be) to the fact that Castanet was behind her pulling funny faces.

Hearing more, seeing more, is that really living more?
By that sin fell the angels.

Damien opened his mouth to reply when there was that sudden screeching noise. His hands flew to his ears and he imediately shut off his powers. Any Stave could tell you that they would have waved buh-bye to their eardrums if they'd had their powers in full swing at that moment - so Damien was lucky that he'd been barely using his.
Barely hearing Esme over the racket, he grabbed his cousin's wrist and broke into a run down the hallway, pulling her along with him until she got the message that it would be a good idea to run along with him. "Oh yeah... Bit of a confession... I forgot there's a fade in the school and a baby dragon in the forest. I've been busy!" So busy that he accidentally just ran down a dead end. "Oh and this fade loves making lions appear. Big scary lions and he broke my coffee machine. I swear there's a door around here somewhere..." He grumbled, searching around for one of those invisible doorways that led angels through to the heavens. He'd only discovered them a few days previous when Solace had pointed out that there was a door in the middle of his office. Damien had called the angel ridiculous and then he'd found himself in the heavens just a little bit freaked out.

Should we live to expectations - Or fight to break them?
Destruction, death and horror!

Trinity and Solitude jumped out of the car, Trinity imediately spearing a lizardman with one of her new swords, while Solitude was simply just shooting and demon she saw moving. The pair were obviously suffering from being apart, and were slowly begining to get more and more tired, but they didn't really care since they'd most likely just join up again afterwards and resume killing things.
Trinity sent a head rolling to the floor and then turned around to sweep her leg across the kneecaps of another demon to send it crashing to the ground. Solitude put a bullet through it's head and they turned to find another lizardman to fight. Lizardmen were just too easy to take down, all you had to do was confuse them a bit and then send a knife through them.
