It was as if Aiden had never been asleep and Angela had never been joking about cutting his hair. The siblings were imediately pointing guns at the panther that had just pinned their friend to the floor. Aiden had conjured up the guns and sat bolt upright, Angela had simply had to catch one of the guns and point it. They raised their eyebrows in unison at the panther and Angela proceded to tackle Hikaru, slamming into his side to knock him off Kage.

"That's not nessecarily a good idea, since he's a big scary panther and none of the kids who are already jumped up and freaking out at the moment are going to waste time sticking a sword through him." Castanet was just glad the shadow panther was literally made of shadows.
Adelaide smiled and nodded, "Right, I'll tell everyone else where you're off to, don't worry about it." She nodded, completely oblivious (or pretending to be) to the fact that Castanet was behind her pulling funny faces.

Damien opened his mouth to reply when there was that sudden screeching noise. His hands flew to his ears and he imediately shut off his powers. Any Stave could tell you that they would have waved buh-bye to their eardrums if they'd had their powers in full swing at that moment - so Damien was lucky that he'd been barely using his.

Barely hearing Esme over the racket, he grabbed his cousin's wrist and broke into a run down the hallway, pulling her along with him until she got the message that it would be a good idea to run along with him. "Oh yeah... Bit of a confession... I forgot there's a fade in the school and a baby dragon in the forest. I've been busy!" So busy that he accidentally just ran down a dead end. "Oh and this fade loves making lions appear. Big scary lions and he broke my coffee machine. I swear there's a door around here somewhere..." He grumbled, searching around for one of those invisible doorways that led angels through to the heavens. He'd only discovered them a few days previous when Solace had pointed out that there was a door in the middle of his office. Damien had called the angel ridiculous and then he'd found himself in the heavens just a little bit freaked out.

Destruction, death and horror!

Trinity and Solitude jumped out of the car, Trinity imediately spearing a lizardman with one of her new swords, while Solitude was simply just shooting and demon she saw moving. The pair were obviously suffering from being apart, and were slowly begining to get more and more tired, but they didn't really care since they'd most likely just join up again afterwards and resume killing things.

Trinity sent a head rolling to the floor and then turned around to sweep her leg across the kneecaps of another demon to send it crashing to the ground. Solitude put a bullet through it's head and they turned to find another lizardman to fight. Lizardmen were just too easy to take down, all you had to do was confuse them a bit and then send a knife through them.

"I liked that coffee machine." Damien pulled a face at Esme and walked over to the other side of the corridor, looking for the door. "Oh- there are doors everywhere, you're just not looking hard enough... And I'm supposed to be the one with bad eyesight..." He finally found the door he was looking for, it had moved since he'd last been down here. Looking along the corridor however, there didn't seem to be a need for opening it since the fade had gone. Instead he yawned, and sat in the windowsill.

"Yeah... The confession would be that I didn't call the council about it because I don't like you guys." Damien looked down the corridor bored now there was nothing exciting to do. He was worried that the fade may start causing trouble again - if that happened he was just going to open the door and send a blast of angelic energy at the ghost.

.* Caia Grey *.

She knew how to fight. The pompous demon didn't need to tell her what to do. When she was handed the dagger, Caia hid it in her sleeve. When Trinity came to kill her, she would slip it out and drive it into her body. She could do that much. Staggering forward, Caia winced and put a hand at the back of her head. She could do that much, even if her head hurt. Letting her hand fall to her side, she wiped the blood on her pants. No sense having wet hands, in case it caused her to lose grip and lead her to fail killing Trinity. Kill her and the hallucinations would disappear. She wouldn't have to see anyone anymore, or hear their voices.

Caia silently watched as as corpses fell in front of her cell, her eyes looking for Trinity. 'Ah. There.' She was killing all those lizardmen with some other girl... looked familiar, that other one. Good for them, killing those demon. Caia didn't care if they were "protecting her", so she had been told, since she didn't like them very much. But it was bad. Caia didn't expect anyone more than Trinity. Two, no... three. Four. Four total. All hallucinations? 'Cordell.' Cordell was there, too. He came to kill her as well? Did she have to kill them all, including Cordell? Cordell wasn't evil. He was just... lazy sometimes, but he was also with Trinity, and Trinity was here to kill her. All hallucinations. She had to kill Cordell, and those other two, or everything wouldn't go away. Caia didn't fully trust what the druid said, for reasons she definitely could still remember. He was, after all, the reason she had to spend hours in those nightmares. She didn't like him at all, but this was her best bet. No hallucination was going to get the best of her.

'Wait.' she thought, and closed her eyes as it went out of focus again. Her head really, really hurt. 'Wait. i can kill them before they kill me. I can do it. I just need to wait.'

.* I want to protect, so I will dirty my hands for you *.

.* Hakan Lure *.

Hakan could hear the rumblings of the vehicle, so he wasn't surprised when he heard Arren's voice a few seconds later. The druid was probably going to make his escape, or devise a "plan" from a distance. Hakan would expect both. He stopped and waited for Arren to reach him. "Finished already, I see. Did you get what you want from the hunter, or was it another failure?"

Destruction, death and horror!

Solitude ducked as a lizardman decided to swing a sword towards her. She scowled at it, kicking it in the stomach as the creature wildly swung it's sword around and left a cut across her shoulder. Over the other side of the cavern, Trinity winced as a cut appeared on her shoulder. "Be careful..." Trinity mumbled under her breath, only for Solitude to hear. She ducked and Solitude sent a bullet into the forehead of the demon stood behind her.

Solitude chuckled lightly and the pair of them made their way over to Caia's cell, which Solitude promptly opened by firing a round of bullets at the lock. Trinity kicked the metal out of the way and made her way over to Caia, checking her friend-enemy over she decided she was going to to kill Hakan and Arren in the most painful way possible. "You okay? You have a hole the size of Africa in your head..." She caught Caia's arm, worried that she might fall over. "Come on, I promised your granddad we'd get you out of here. He's... A bit... energetic..."

Solitude yawned, "A bit? I was tempted to knock him out just so I wouldn't get a headache."

- { Arrєn Alαznє } -
Power is the downfall of those too weak to resist.

"Actually, I convinced Caia that Trinity is an evil demon who's trying to kill her, and Caia has decided she's killing Trinity before she gets the chance because she believes it will stop the halucinations." He followed Hakan down the corridor, raising his eyebrows, "Where are you escaping to anyway...?"

"So the Kane family heirloom is to do with teleportation..." Damien mused. He deecided he was going to have to find out about these family heirlooms, they did seem incredibly interesting.

At Esme's quesiton about the identity of the fade, Damien wondered how he could get out of the trouble he was going to be in for not saying that a student had been killed on school grounds. "Well... Nahuel London... One of the Claie survivors did seem to be the fade... And there's a bit of blood in the tunnels..."

.* Caia Grey *.

Caia didn't react to the shadow man, whoever he was, but his comment did trigger a thought. Being in the Otherworld did mean she had a shadow, yes? She hadn't seen it yet. She wasn't aware of it at all, nor did she remember getting one. She heard it was painful... Caia didn't want any more pain. Kill them, stop the pain. Killing them will stop it.

Her breath came up short as the cell door blasted open and Trinity came through. Africa... hole... Caia only caught a little of what Trinity was saying. She was focusing too much on what she thought she had to do. She wanted to get it done before she couldn't, before Trinity killed her. Granddad... That struck a cord, and hesitated briefly. She never recalled telling Trinity about her grandfather, but... he was there as well. He yelled at her, too. Something about not understanding. What didn't she understand, exactly...?

'No. Focus.' It wouldn't matter what her grandfather was talking about soon. Trinity was holding her arm. she was probably preparing to strike Caia. Caia had to strike first. "Stop them..." she muttered softly, slipping the dagger into her hand, luckily the one Trinity did not grab. She had to stop them, stop the hallucinations, the nightmares. It confused her, it caused her so much pain. So many hours of pain. Caia didn't want to do it all again. Mustering as much strength as she could, Caia's hand whipped out, the point of the blade striking towards Trinity's side.

.* I want to protect, so I will dirty my hands for you *.

.* Hakan Lure *.

Hakan nodded slowly, his mind computing the information. "Manipulation of the mind. Interesting." He wondered how Trinity would react to that, but there wasn't a method he could come up with to watch unnoticed in the caverns. "Escape is a term I would use for you. I shall be watching Trinity Kane's progress through her mission in order to calculate her usefulness." Naturally, if she died in the process, that would mean her significance was very low, and she would therefore be useless. Corpses tended to be, unless used as bait or manipulation, as Arren did with the hunter. He would head outside. If Trinity Kane was to escape, he would be able to witness it outside. "Do you plan on stopping them, or will you let them get away should your puppet fail?"

Destruction, death and horror!

Trinity frowned slightly, "Yeah Cordell is stopping them along with his creepy shadow it explodes peop-" She gasped in pain at exactly the same time Solitude did. "What's wrong with you!? Every time I try to rescue you are you just going to attempt to kill me before I get the chance!?" Solitude had been the one who'd stopped Trinity getting a lethal wound, she'd pushed Trinity backwards by kicking her in the stomach. Though it was perhaps a few seconds too late and now both of them had a deep wound stretching across their stomach.

Solitude grumbled, "See idiotic hunters. Told you she looked pathetic." She grabbed Caia's free, knife weilding arm and pryed the weapon from between her fingers.

"I will hit you Solitude." Trinity mumbled, as she kicked the back of Caia's knees to make the hunter topple forwards. Caia was most likely not coming willingly and Trinity was loosing a fair ammount of blood. "Cordell! We need to go now! Caia's just tried to stab me!" She and her ulterior personality started dragging Caia off towards the car, deciding that whatever had happened to Caia could be resolved later and for now they were simply going to force her to come with them since Trinity disaproved of the idea from Solitude about slapping her to see if the phraze 'slap some sense into her' worked.

Power is the downfall of those too weak to resist.

"You do realise how incredibly boring you sound don't you? Plus, aparently there's two Trinity's out there. They both have the same scar I gave her." He shrugged when Hakan asked if he planned on stopping them. "There's no stopping Trinity Kane when she's protecting someone. I'll find a different way to get the watch." He yawned boredly and headed off into the tunnel complex to do excatly as Hakan had said - escape the carnage Trinity would likely cause the place when she left.

"Yes, you can sure have fun telling them. I'm not doing it. No way, nada. Aparently, the council will happily shoot their own family because they are idiotic." He followed Esme because like how she didn't want him snooping about the council island, he didn't want her snooping around the school and since he held authority over the school it meant that he could stop her snooping down corridors - though he had found out that when he'd tried that with Trinity it hadn't worked and she'd teleported him to the Sahara Desert when he'd tried.

"So Esme... If you came here to get Ethel's things. Why were you wandering around the school? What else are you here for...?" He caught up to her easily, looking bored as ever. It would be amusing to hear what Esme had to say, yet he doubted it would be the truth.

.* Caia Grey *.

Caia swore softly when she realized she had missed. Her Trinity hallucination was still alive, and the other one was already disarming her. She tried pushing the girl away, but Caia was far to weak to do anything, and this girl was a lot stronger than she appeared. "Let go." She said, pulling against the girl, and she repeated it when Trinity knocked her down and grabbed her other arm. "Let me go. Let me go, let me go." She tried pushing against the ground with her feet, but there was nothing for her to catch on to. "I won't let you kill me. I won't let you." She resisted even more when they reached the car, summoning up her last bits of desperate strength to lift her feet and push against the side of the car, trying to keep the two of them from getting her inside. "Taking me somewhere else to kill me? I won't allow it. I won't allow a cursed nightmare to get the best of me."

Her attempts weren't working too well. No matter how she tried, she kept getting more and more into the car. "I have to kill you." she muttered. "I have to kill you, or it won't stop. Why can't you just die, all of you?" Finally shoved into the car, Caia moved so that she was on the complete opposite side of the car, pressing herself against the side, hands fumbling around for the door handle. She could try getting out this way, if they were blocking the other side. "Kill you before you kill me, then everything will go away. Everyone will leave me alone." Her eyes never left Trinity and the girl beside her, just in case they tried a sneak attack. "And it doesn't matter where you take me. I won't let you kill me."

She felt she was repeating herself a lot, but it helped. Helped her remain focused. She had to keep reminding herself of these things, otherwise she felt she'd forget.

.* I want to protect, so I will dirty my hands for you *.

.* Hakan Lure *.

Yes. Trinity and her shadow, another form of Solitude. Hakan was aware of the shadow, naturally, and he already knew it would come out. That was what happened in the Otherworld. If Trinity was able to control her shadow, her value would increase quite a bit. It would mean a strengthening of the will. Of course, that could also work against him. It would likely mean that he would have a much harder time controlling Solitude. He would have to devise a new way of using her.

Hakan said nothing about his thoughts to Arren, since it would be meaningless, and didn't say a word as they parted. What Arren said was the truth, albeit stretched slightly. It wasn't impossible to stop Trinity when she was protecting someone, only difficult. Far too difficult for someone of Arren's small caliber. The druid may as well prolonged his life escaping, though Hakan had reasonable doubts about the success of Arren's next plan to get the watch. He waved the doubts away, however, since they were no longer of interest to him. This plan of druid's, after all, was just a method of observation to Hakan.

Speaking of observation, it was about time he headed out of these tunnels. He needed to watch Trinity Kane's escape and then report his findings to the Lure Council.

Destruction, death and horror!

"Caia... Seriously? Why on earth would I come all the way to the Otherworld to get you, to take you somewhere else to kill you? If I wanted to kill you I'd have done it already." Trinity shook her head, feeling betrayed perhaps? No she had no idea what that emotion was though it did make her upset that her fri-enemy wanted to kill her. That would be another person to add to the list of people trying to kill her.

"We could put her in the trunk if she keeps trying to kill us...? I'm glad you chose a car with child-lock on the back doors anyway..." Solitude put her hands on the roof of the car, pulling herself up onto it, and jumping down the other side while slamming the dagger she'd just taken from Caia into a demon's chest. She opened the door on the side of the car that Caia was on, and pretty forcefully clipped the seatbelt around her. "Listen here hunter, I will quite happily knock you out if you attempt to kill Trinity so be good and you can see your granddaddy when we get out of this place. Understood?" She patted Caia on the head and shut the car door.

Trinity had raised her eyebrows at the comment of putting Caia in the back of the car... But it would make things a lot easier if Caia did keep trying to kill her like she said se had to... And then a head went flying past her face. She wiped the blood off her cheek and cast a look at Cordell, while Solitude grabbed the other teacher and hauled him out of the way, over to the driver's side of the car. "In now. We're going before we pass out." Both Trinity and Solitude had matching rivers of blood running down their stomachs.

As Solitude worked on getting the driver into the car, Trinity had gotten the mini-missile launcher out and was pointing it at the big group of demons about to meet a very crimson colored end. "Say buh-bye." The missle exploded and sent Trinity stumbling back a few steps. She turned back to the car, wiping blood from her face since it had gone everywhere. "Can we go now...? I want a shower."

"Yay! I'm so excited I think I'm going to explode!" Damien mumbled monotonusly. "We only have three free teachers rooms. The rest are still being built. Wait, I got it... You guys can sleep in tents outside." Playing host to the council would be a nightmare, and Damien was pretty sure that Trinity was going to cause as much trouble for them (perhaps more) than he was. Cordell and Caia were most likely going to join in... And probably a huge group of students were too. This might actually turn out amusing.

"Does this mean I have to clear out the other office...?" Damien asked with a yawn. The other office was the one that was supposed to be used by the headteacher - but Damien didn't like it because it was incredibly drafty in there so he'd taken the smaller office opposite. If ever the council were to come to the school they tended to need a base of opperations and that was why there were two offices.

"I'm perfectly capable of checking on things, you don't need to come all the way from the council island to check if our lightbulbs work." He laughed hearing the bit about the tape. "Right... It's in my office so I'll meet you up there once you've finished killing Ethel's teddy bears or whatever you're doing." He headed off down the hallway and up the stairs to go to his office while pulling his phone out of his pocket and sending a text to someone. Upstairs in his office the angel Damien had just texted had walked through the doorway that was invisible and was, with the help of a few more angels that stepped in after her, quickly removing everything from Damien's office that shouldn't really be there. They even cleared out the room behind the bookshelf and quickly refilled it with books they were taking from the library.

By that sin fell the angels.

Damien was quite bored with his office now. It looked no different to what it used to do, though many of the books on the shelves had been changed, the things in the drawers of his desk had disappeared. The files and folders pertaining to the experimentations on him and his sister were gone - he was letting one of the angels take a look at them, it was a long story but technically she was like a second mother since it was her blood that had made Damien a half-angel... Of course she was Trinity's mother too since she'd adopted the half-demon once she'd met her for the first time. Trinity had found it weird, but after a while had found it was fun to have a bit of a family because they went shopping loads and had coffee and everything.

Damien waved a quick goodbye to the angels who'd 'destroyed' his office and were heading off to tidy the other office. It was just coincidental that there was a door in there too - always useful. Ever since Damien had been through the first door a few days ago, he'd been able to see the faint outlines of more of these doors... They weren't everywhere but they were in a few useful places.

He picked up the tape on his desk, since the angels had made copies and taken them with them because they were interested in these powers that Castanet had been so worried about. Damien opened the door when Esme knocked on it and gestured that she could come in.

"Actually... I'm afraid you can't. You're a councilor and you don't have written permisson from at least three council members to be interfering with the school and everything here. You're not Ethel's parent either, so I can't give you the file." Damien shrugged. He knew however that Esme wouldn't have asked for it unless there was a reason to ask for it, and that whatever the reason he was probably not allowed to know. Though he would find out later. "Unless there's a very good reason, or it's suddenly requested by the medical staff, Ethel's file stays behind those shelves over there, only accessible by pressing a button under my desk. I obviously can't just give them to anyone you see, and I think it's time for me to go check on something that will require me to stand outside the room for three minutes. On no account will I be telling you the code for the lock on the cabinet is 3894 either. Sorry. I just can't tell you. Oh, and I want an apology for the arrow through the shoulder. Blue files are for Harrisons."

He headed out the door, closing it behind him and opening the office door across the hallway. "What on earth are you guys doing...?" Damien mumbled incredibly quietly. The three angels looked up at him and shrugged. "Right... Where's Rachel? She normally has some authority over you guys..." The trio of angels (actually triplets) just gave grins and returned to what they were doing - feeding the dragon that was sat the other side of the invisible door anything they could pick up. Damien shook his head and sighed, leaving them to it. He closed the office door behind him and mumbled something, casting a spell that would block sound from getting out of it. Of course he'd take it down later for when he wanted to eavesdrop on the councilors.
