Alex smiled slightly, "life is a game" he murmured and grew suddenly silent, 'am I a failure or a successful player?' he thought tightening his grip around himself a bit as he thought. This was a hard question on his opinion, perhaps because of the way he thought about it, he smiled softly, "I'm a Fighter Miss Castanet" he said, "and so you are" he looked at her, "the ones that simply refuse to die no matter how many times they try to kill us... And I say, we're the true winners of the game"

............... Damien pushed his wet hair out of his face, and looked in the direction of the person who had called out to them. Miraculously Damien's glasses had managed to stay on his face all the while Durendel had thrown him off. he tried not to laugh when Cordell was hit over the head by his Uncle, it was just amusing to watch, especially since Cordell was the one who tended to hit people with his cane. He grinned a little hearing Cordell's Uncle's thoughts on him being the head of Horia, "I think you should add a yet to the end of that comment." When Councilor Wings walked off, Durendel flew off, with a very loud roar as if to say 'fine don't say hi to me'. Damien mumbled something about moody dragons before grinning at Cordell because he still found it funny that the other teacher had just been hit.

............... Deryn looked over at Esme when she appeared, rather casually as opposed to Trinity's teleportation style. Trinity tended to appear, then do something destructive seconds later. His attention flickered back to the mask that he was holding, and he passed it to Amos. It had gotten to the part where Trinity had gotten into the same room as Caia. "Amos, where exactly is your granddaughter?" He glanced over at Esme, and sent a stream of thought to her head. "You might want to come take a look at this, your cousins mask. It seems she was fighting lizardmen. It might also explain the missing teachers..." He cut off as he felt the mind of a dragon pass the window, and realized that not all the teachers might be missing.

...............Castanet laughed, "I know people who are better fighters than me." She smiled faintly and then nodded. "I'm glad you're a fighter. If you weren't I'd have to throw this can of cola at you." She raised her eyebrows as if she meant that in complete seriousness, before downing the rest of the cola and throwing it into the trash.

Amos, having just finished the first liter of his smoothie, set it down on the table and was just reaching for the second when Deryn put Trinity's mask in front of him. "I don't know. My granddaughter refused to update me every minute, like I wanted her to." Amos laughed. "She's in her rebellious ph--" Caia's appearance on the screen made him stop. She wasn't wearing her glasses, which was odd. She had always grumbled about contacts, and how easy it was for them to get dislodged, so she never wore them. Without her glasses, she could only see clearly ten feet in front of her.

"Who are those two?" Amos asked, suddenly serious, pointing to two men talking with eachother. The atmosphere in that room did not look good. "Demons? There are lizardmen all over the place..."

............... Deryn shook his head at the question, "I have no idea, I'm sorry." He thought he'd seen the faces of the pair of the demons before, but Trinity may have buried the thoughts of those two so deep that even Deryn couldn't see them. An apologetic, yet still serious look crossed his face as he watched what was happening on the mask over Amos's shoulder.

"They look like demons, otherwise Trinity would have been talking her brains out to them..." He frowned slightly, "In this case, it's a good thing Trinity seems stressed. It means Caia is still alive. There'd be not a single thought coming from Trinity right now if she thought all hope was lost. She wouldn't be trying to wake up."

Alex smiled, "ah would you?" he rose an eyebrow, "tsk tsk" he shivered slightly and slightly rubbed his arms before sitting hugging himself again, he let out a sigh, "hum... Well in fact it doesn't matters how you play the game, it starts and ends on the same way for everyone" he said and got silent again.

Sliding into his thoughts he mentally hit himself, 'stop being so negative you idiot' he thought and closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again and letting out a long sigh, 'you better start acting positive right now! Cheer up man' he thought, but every time he thought about it he would shake his head and nothing would change in fact.

...............Castanet was beginning to tire of talk about games, she was used to Trinity's talk - constant nonsense that changed subject at least three times in a minute. To her, humans were just irritably boring. Well, there were a few exceptions. She could hold a conversation with Damien easily, since they could easily talk about snakes for ages, and magical nonsense that was going on, and it was a nice break from Trinity's babble. She could also hold a conversation with Angela, about how silly Trinity was. She was slowly beginning to warm to the other teachers - slowly - but hadn't had a conversation with them yet to know if they were an exception.

"I appear to be bored of talking about depressing subjects, would you like to go shoot some demons with a bow and arrow set?"

............... Damien winced and covered the back of his head with a glare in Cordell's direction, clearly very irritated that he kept doing that. "Yes, I'm still young, but by the way things are going, I'm going to die of brain damage." He sighed at all the lying that was taking place between the two and wondered if the whole family had bad habits like drinking and smoking. He wondered if they were heading straight to the infirmary still completely soaked from the short swim in the ocean, it would certainly be amusing for everyone else apart from them. Damien pushed his hair out of his eyes for the fifth time and looked around. "Wow, we have to be incredibly stressed at school all the time while the councilors live in their own little paradise? Do you think we'd get away with demolishing part of the school to build a resort park?" (The infirmary xD)

............... Deryn waited until Eli and Esme had finished conversing, about whatever they were talking about, probably another meeting or an appointment for Eli was Deryn's guess. "Well, Damien's dragon just flew in and out, so I doubt he's missing since Durendel refuses to talk to anyone else. I honestly have no clue Esme, I've been in here for the past ten minutes or so." He glanced at Eli and Valentine, wondering what was taking so long about healing Trinity. Though Deryn had to admit he knew nothing about healing and for all he knew they had to do a weird dance before they healed someone... Actually, Deryn thought that would be quite amusing and hoped that was the reason for it.

Alex smiled and looked at her, "yeah the depressing talk was boring" he said and a bit of life seemed to slid into his eyes when she asked him if he wanted to go shoot demons, "really?" he asked hopefully, "can I?"

I'm pretty sure you can hold a bow and arrow. By demons I don't mean me though." She headed over to one of the cupboards and started rummaging through it, coming back with a bow and a set of arrows for each of them.
