............... "No sleeping..." Damien mumbled, "But a Fade broke my coffee machine how am I going to stay awake? I don't like ghosts... Perhaps they were created to wind me up. Wait no... That job falls to Trinity." He would have added, 'And you too sometimes.' Though there was no need, because it was obvious that Cordell tended to cause problems more than he solved. With the shadow, the book, curse marks, drinking, hitting things with a cane, upper-demons, disappearing for days and not answering his phone, Cordell tended to cause more problems than the students. He turned down the corridor that would lead them away from the tunnels, "You have blood in your hair. It smells bad." He chuckled, able to smell the blood easily with his heightened senses.

............... "Replacement?" Adelaide mumbled as she opened a drawer, "We've got a drawer full here. All in black I'm afraid, but one has a rather cute graphic of a monkey as a screen saver." Even though it was impossible to see Adelaide's face it was easy to tell she was trying not to laugh at that. In reply to the part about bringing the healers along, "Thank-you, I assume you won't be needing a helicopter or a plane?" After Esme suggested checking the tunnels Adelaide lent against the desk, "Only the teachers have keys to the tunnels, excluding Castanet since she's only a teacher on occasion, we were going to send someone with Trinity's swords since she uses them as a key to the tunnels, but she arrived without them. The tunnel openings that Trinity can open with the swords were put under an emergency lockdown, the only people who can get in and out are now Damien Stave, Cordell Wings and Caia Grey. Who have all, conveniently disappeared."

...............Castanet raised no eyebrows to the red eyes that Alex seemed to sport, for all she knew about humans, red eyes were normal. She let go of the snake who'd been telling her news of Ethel. Some snakes were able to pick up traces of magic, well snakes that Castanet had cast a spell or two on were usually able to do so, and this snake had picked up unusually high traces of energy. The snake seemed to be contemplating whether or not Alex tasted good instead of slithering back off, so Castanet hissed something at it and it hurried away pretty fast after that. "Ignore him, he has eyes bigger than his belly. There's no reason to be scared of them though, the snakes quite happily work for me when I ask them to." Castanet tapped a few buttons on her keyboard, changing the angles of the cameras. She was making sure that Alex didn't know about the strange powers of Ethel Harrison, after all, she was pretty sure that the girl didn't want everyone to know she was a bit odd in the power department. Castanet had never seen anything like it.
