((Curse my nook, despite how cool it is. And I wrote mine in class as well XD. I have nothing to say.))
.* Arren Alazne *.
The sudden blast echoed through the area, and Arren perked up immediately. "There. There...there they are!" He exclaimed, urging the lizardmen around him in the direction of the blast. It was too bad he was on the opposite side of the mansion, though, so it would take a bit to get where he was sure the hunters would be. Luckily, not all of his lizardmen were with him. Others had branched off to search where ever he wasn't. Arren couldn't wait to capture the escapees. He would slaughter Trinity, cut her into pieces, kill her slowly and painfully. And now that he knew the other hunter... the Grey human, had the watch, he would get it from her, and perhaps torture her further. She was annoyingly resistant, and her disrespect towards his majesty was inexcusable. But he would still kill her first, and then use the watch to amplify his powers and make Trinity's death even more miserable than was currently possible. It would be an exquisite taste of fun.
He just couldn't wait to get them.
.* Caia Grey *.
Caia never felt a bloodlust in a sword as much as she did in Trinity's. Being a demonic weapon, the hunter expected some kind of oddity, but this was ridiculous. The blade practically shouted for joy every time she sliced through a lizardman. Enough was obviously not going to be enough for this sword, and it was a good thing, too. The lizardmen were a never ending amoeba.
She was swinging one-handed at the demons (thank goodness the sword was a part of a set and it was meant to be wielded in that manner) while keeping the blue ball of her energy swirling in her other hand. As long as she kept it there, it would make it seem like she had the watch with her still, and if Arren wanted it that badly, he'd ignore Trinity's existence temporarily and focus solely on her. After all, if he found out Trinity had the watch, and Trinity was still in the mansion grounds, he'd definitely kill her. At least this way, Caia wouldn't die immediately. At the moment, she was more valuable alive than dead, because he was too idiotically uninformed to know otherwise. She could hear him coming. Arren must have noticed her blasting of the wall. He'd have to be deaf not to. 'Good.' Caia thought, kicking a lizardman. She turned to look at Arren as he rounded the corner, and immediately sent burst of her energy flying at him. Not waiting to see the results, though she would find great joy in seeing his face blown to pieces, she turned again and ran through the astonished lizardman, slashing at any that came near her.
Arren, who had managed a spell to protect himself, growled something in demonic, and immediately the lizardmen were sent after her. Caia really didn't know how long she could keep this up. Hopefully Trinity got away by now.
