He pushed open the door to Damien's classroom when Ethel had finished the comment about him, "Possibly... Hey you know that bit about Damien not fighting, his neck and shoulder are bandaged up. Would've been funny to see that fight..." He slipped inside the classroom and held open the door for Ethel to follow him inside. "Seats over here Ethel," it wasn't hard to find empty seats in an almost empty classroom, it seemed most students were either in the infirmary or hadn't bothered getting out of bed. He pulled two chairs out from under the desk and sat in the one furthest from the wall. "You seem used to giving that answer about your compass I think?"

It didn't really seem like anyone else was going to turn up for lesson after Jackson and Ethel turned up (Damien was actually surprised Ethel had turned up), so Damien figured it would be a good plan to actually start the class. He just had no idea what he was going to teach. Maybe he should've thought about that instead of reading his book. Well, he hadn't even been reading his book, he'd been worrying about Trinity once again, since he thought she was still asleep... And not that she was causing trouble in the Otherworld. But, before he could sink back into worrying thoughts, he figured a lesson plan would be good in times like this. Just a shame he didn't have one.
Damien was pretty useless at thinking up a plan in a short period of time, and continued flipping through his book as if he were reading it. It was pretty useful for him then, that his angelic half was sorting out the plan for him.
He closed the book, stuck it in a drawer and then actually acknowledged that half of the class had bothered with turning up. "Has anyone here ever tried using their powers
with someone from a different family? For example, a fire Emory can create a fire that will then cast shadows if other objects block it's light, therefore strengthening Pearce family powers, or a Kane member can teleport a Thorn member's weapons straight into the target? Has anyone got any other ideas on mixing powers?"

Casta carried on driving and turned to Trinity with an apologetic look on her face, “ I was watching what happened at Horia and one of your friends died before the lockdown was put up.”
Trinity looked across at Casta alarmed, “Who? What happened?” She was racking through her brains to figure out who she had and hadn’t seen after the lock down had been put up. “Tell me now!”
“Angela.”
Trinity sighed quietly, and she immediately sank back into looking weak and fragile again. “Anything we can do?”
Castanet nodded, “Yes, I was lucky. I managed to anchor her soul before she died fully. It means we can bring her back as an
anomaly. I had to wait for her brother to send her body off to the Thorn family graves but it didn’t take long to bring her over here after that. I was going to call you and bring her back then, since she’d probably try to kill me if I bought her back... You know, snake things and all. I left her in the abandoned Lure houses we cleared out a few months back when I came to fetch you.”
Trinity looked generally happy that Angela could be saved; she nodded and watched as a bunch of seemingly abandoned houses began to appear on the horizon. She reached down and pulled a sword free from its sheath as she noticed the demons roaming around, learning that a friend needed to be saved from death had put the fight back into her.
