...........................jacĸѕon eмory & яιѕку мι∂мσσи. ...............Jackson shrugged, "I don't know... The teachers always seem to be worse off than the students and they have to be running around and checking that we are all okay... And they are adults so they have to deal with bills... So that's a lot of things for them to be depressed about." He drank his coffee as he walked, and when the nurse appeared he felt a bit like they were about to drag him off to do random procedures that had as little chance of success as flying pigs. "I'd be depressed if I had to pay bills... That would mean getting a job and actually working..." Risky was, by this point ready with the commentary;
"Why are you complaining about work? You've never worked a day in your life you don't know what it's like." Jackson pulled a face at Risky's annoyingness, and a student looked at him strangely because Jackson had just pulled a face at thin air.
"Nor have you." He took another drink of coffee and spoke to Ethel this time, switching back to earlier conversation; "It's just that we are all expected to become demon hunters, and the teachers have actually become demon hunters, with the exception of Damien of course, but if they are depressed all the time our futures don't look too great."

...........................caѕтaneт alazne &
тrιnιтy ℓσυя∂ кane...............Princess Castanet-Constance Ariella Pandora Alazne of the High Court of Druids, Casta for short, had known Trinity for three years. Ever since Trinity had saved her from being transformed into a snake, and stabbed her in the arm with a sword all in the same day, the pair had been very good friends. Even if one was a demon, and the other was a complicated mix of artificially created Halfling demon that used to kill hunters but now was a teacher with the part time job of killing demons. Castanet always had time for her best friend to fill with a mix of destroying things and getting in trouble. It may seem like a rather strange mix for a friendship, a demon princess and a demon hunter, but Castanet had always refused the throne and enjoyed winding her family up and to do that she killed plenty of demons. However since she was the only one in line for the throne still, she was still regarded as the Princess. She was quite a shock to humans; she had pale green skin and vivid green hair, coupled with snake fangs and a snake tongue. She’d been saved from a transformation into a snake, but Trinity had been a little too late and Castanet was now stuck as a half snake half druid.
Castanet frowned at the hunter who’d just got into her car, and started up the engine to drive off, Trinity didn’t look like herself she looked all fragile and broken... And she’d forgotten to put any shoes on. “Trinity, aren’t your feet cold? There’s a spare pair of boots under your seat.”
Trinity put her swords in sheathes down next to her feet and then frowned looking down at her feet when they were pointed out and realising she wasn’t actually wearing shoes. She nodded and retrieved the boots from under her seat. She slipped them on and began to lace them up.
Castanet frowned at Trinity, “Alright, spill, what happened? You never tend to come over here looking this bad.”
Trinity never tended to show herself looking so weak and fragile, and when it was pointed out by Casta she worked to make sure it didn’t show anymore. “Nothing, I’m fine. Just tired. I thought you’d been keeping watch anyway?”
Casta nodded, “I had been keeping watch on Horia, but you put the school under lockdown and I couldn’t break past it to see what was happening.”
Trinity paled, “Ah, so you saw that then... Why bother asking?”
Casta nodded, “I bothered asking because I wanted to see if you'd actually tell me or not. Yes, I saw Solitude and I’m glad you’re back to normal... Well close enough anyway, you’re slightly off balance because you were put together by angelic magic and you’re half demon.” Casta pulled one hand away from the steering wheel and placed it on Trinity’s forehead, then began chanting just like Damien had done, fixing Trinity’s mind and slotting memories and thoughts back into the right places. Trinity let her friend fix up her mind, and once she’d done there was a sigh of relief from the hunter. “Better now?” Casta asked as she returned her hand to the steering wheel. There was a nod from Trinity and Casta smiled. Trinity slumped against the seat as her headache began to fade away and began to relax.
