Jackson was asleep in Cordell's chair, where Cordell should have been. He woke up and looked confused, "Huh? Where'd everyone go..." He looked at his watch, "Oh we're gonna be late for the next class!" He grabbed his backpack and ran towards the door, then stopped and looked at Sophie, "I would ask why you have a baseball bat, but there's no time - are you coming?"

Damien Stave~
Damien wasn't in the classroom and had left the work on the board because he knew what was in the box, early that morning (with a bit of help) he'd put ten Rage's into the box and locked it. It would easily break, but that wasn't the test, the test was helping each other to destroy the demons in the box. He was watching via the school security cameras just in case and also so he knew who didn't help out in destroying the demons.

Angela Thorn~
Angela looked bored, she summoned a bow and arrow set and played with the strung bow as if it were a guitar, she lent against the wall and looked around for someone interesting to talk to.

"Thanks." Kage said when Angela had complimented her catch. She gave a small nod and helped her pull the screens to cover the cracks. She coiled her whip up, hooking it onto her belt and then headed into the next training room. She read quickly what was on the board, and then looked at the box. She wasnt going to be the one that approached it first, thats for sure.

Angela nodded, picked up her bag and followed Kage next door. She dropped her bag on a bench at the back and read the board, still playing with the bow string, slowly finding the notes to play a song. She looked at the box, surely it wouldn't take the whole lesson to open... No... The key to the box was actually hanging from a string attached to the board. It was what was inside the box that was supposed to be the challenge. 'Powers in combat' that was the name of the class, so the combat was inside the box? She ran through the list of demons in her mind, the only things small enough to fit in there... She grinned and a set of arrows appeared in her hand, she stuffed them into her pocket and notched one in her bow. Shooting Rages was fun, she recalled the time she'd been clay pigeon shooting with her dad, it reminded her of that.

Kage tilted her head slightly as she continued to study the box. "wait, what- why's the key- oh right..." She trailed off, remembering it was combat class with powers. She looked over at Angela as she notched an arrow into the bow. "You seem to know what is right inside." She commented, and then looked back at the box. It had to be small demons in a box that size. Rages' most likely she thought, then said "Shall we open it?" She glanced at Angela and a small shadow hand formed around the key.

"Why not? I think it would be quite funny... No one else seems to have worked it out yet they're all too busy trying to figure out how to open it." She grinned and nodded, "Go ahead, I think it would freak the rest of the class out. Though I think there is more than one Rage in there. If you listen carefully enough you can hear buzzing..." She held her bow and arrow up, ready to shoot the moment Kage opened the box.

Kage grinned and then nodded. She listened when Angela told her too, and indeed hear a buzzing. Shadows wrapped around a couple people right next to the box and pulled them away. SHe didnt want them to get attacked so suddenly, but she did want them to be surprised. Quickly the shadows receaded and Kage moved her hand, and the shadow hand did the same. The key clicked into the lock. "Here we go." She murmured and twisted the key, the shadow hand quickly disapearing as Rages' burst from the box.

Angela Thorn~
Angela laughed and fired an arrow, it hit one of the Rage's straight away and knocked it to the ground. "Didn't expect ten of them." She commented as they bounced around the room madly. He bow and arrow set disappeared, "Anyone for cricket?" She asked as a cricket bat appeared in her hands, she laughed as she sent a Rage flying into a wall and looked over to see how Kage was getting on.

(Sorry i keep getting seriously distracted by youtube.... grr youtube! XD)

Shadows spread across the floor as soon as the chest had been opened. Kage watched two of the rages' bounce around the room. With the flick of her wrist, a net appeared, catching both of them. She flicked her hand and the net slammed into a wall and then fell hard to the ground, the rages' knocked out. She chuckled as she heard Angela asked anyone up for cricket. Feeling her watching her, she looked at her. "I expected these to be harder." She said.

[Missing-One]

Lacey stood in her corner, two little Rages raging at the feet of her chair. She growled and lashed at them with the coils of darkness, and kicked the one that tried to crawl up her leg. Hissing, the girl threw her hands out and stabbed them both in their little chests(They have chests, right?) with the darkness stream. It sharpened to a point before going through their red bodies, and then twisted into a fishhook-shape, and stabbed it in the back again.

She watches as they withered and squirmed. Purple ink-like substances oozed out from them(Is that alright if that's their blood?) and pooled around the floor. Their beady little eyes went faded and vacant as they died and disappeared, leaving piles of black stringy strands of demon blood behind.

((Well that's the most detailed description of killing a demon ever so I guess so :O I never gave rage's a physical description so I don't mind someone making it up))

"I don't think they are supposed to be hard, i think they are supposed to be a shock to get everyone to work together..." Angela raised her eyebrows noticing Lacey, "Hey shadow-girl, you have competition." She motioned towards Lacey and smacked another demon with the bat straight in it's face. "STRIKE!" She didn't seem to have any grasp of the rules of cricket, a strike is where you miss the ball, all she understood was the phrase, 'hit hard'.
