Trinity nodded, listening intently, she always did when it came to plans of action. "It's worth a shot, they might be nearby after all?" Trinity offered and let Caia think. She'd inspected the branches, they'd dried out too much to be fresh, no one had come this way for a good hour or two. She was busy calculating how far they could have gotten, running, they could have gotten past five miles, walking, past 3 miles and dragging students, about ten meters. She watched Caia close her eyes and search for heat signatures, then nodded, "Caves don't usually make heat..." She followed Caia then added, "Though it could be a big ugly cave monster who wants to eat us?" She pulled her second sword free, she felt a lot more balanced with them both in her hands, and followed Caia, eyes looking everywhere for a sign of movement. She liked wearing her mask, even though teachers found it had to talk to her with it on, because it had a small microscopic camera on the back and a screen in front of her eyes letting her see what was behind her.

Councilor Henry Thorn
Picture or good description- Henry Thorn is rather tall, and skinny, and tends to always wear business suits and ties. His hair is almost black, but is really a dark velvet color. It didn't always use to be this color, this is the effect of a rather nasty spell that he ended up getting hit by a few years previous. He's got grey-purple eyes, they used to be a bright blue and now look as if the life has been drained out of them. His whole appearance seems to look dismal and drained, as if there's no life inside him anymore.
Age- 42
Personality- He used to be quite the kind person, but a few years ago he was hit by a spell that ripped his soul free from his body. He gave his soul up to save his children's lives, and hasn't been the same since. He now talks to old friends as if they were acquaintances, and seems to take seriousness in everything. He doesn't seem able to show happiness anymore, and doesn't seem to be able to laugh or smile. The only flicker of his past personality is his need to protect his children, and that's all. If Angela, Aiden, Riley or Mason is in trouble and you're in the way, he would kill you without hesitation.
History-He was on the emergency demon hunter teams for a long time before he married a woman named Joanna Cross, she died in the werewolf attack last year. About eight years ago, he lost his soul protecting his children. He can't remember how or why this happened. He's been the councilor for the past eight and a half years, though he takes rather long breaks away from the job due to his lacking of a soul which is easily covered up by saying he's rather ill most of the time. Most of the council believe he's suffering from a curse that makes him so ill he can't move from bed for long periods of time - this isn't the case, it's just a cover so that no one realizes he's lacking a soul if they spend too long around him.
Family heirloom- The Thorn heirloom can be used by any member of any family. The heirloom is two weapons, the first a sword called 'Coraxe' and a dagger called 'Valente' a demon hunter need simply call their name in battle and as long as no other hunter is holding them, they will appear in the hunter's hands as long as the hunter has a good intention for the weapon. They are most often seen being carried by Henry however and he can call them back to himself at any time.
Interesting fact- He seems to always carry this hourglass with his at all times.

Jackson had fallen asleep again in a quiet corner of the library, he was slumped in a chair with his bag on his lap, the librarian and the other students hadn't noticed since he was hidden behind a shelf of books.

She headed to her favorite spot in the library and saw Jackson there.

Jackson yawned quietly, waking up after hearing someone drop a book off the top off a shelf. He looked around confused and spotted Rain, "Hey, thought you didn't like the inside?" He asked while stretching.

Trinity had a point. Caia’s ability didn’t allow her to differentiate heat signatures, since all heat signatures did was tell you if there was something radiating heat. Animals and humans, if their forms were hidden, appeared and felt the same to her. Following Trinity’s example, Caia drew her own sword, a one-handed falchion, with a hilt made to easily fit her small hands, and approached the entrance of the cave warily. Remaining to the side instead of charging in through the front, she tilted her head to peer into the darkness, narrowing her eyes. “There is a definitely something in there, and it’s either big, or there are multiple entities.” She looked over in Trinity’s direction, smiling at the peculiar mask covering her face. “Shall we go ahead in?”
