As was always the case when teleporting with Trinity, Caia's heart skipped a beat in surprise at the sudden change in scenery, and the odd feeling she always felt made her brain hurt. It didn't help that she wasn't prepared for it, either. At the school gates Caia stumbled a little before regaining her stability. "Trinity," she scowled, "Warn me next time!" With a shake off her head and few deep breaths, Caia felt normal again, and walked along the edge of the trees for any sign of broken branches, recent footprints, or and amount of aftermath, in case a student unleashed their powers. Her eyes narrowed, seeing a few places where they could have entered, but for all she knew it could have been animals.
"Trinity, do you see anything promising." She wouldn't admit it out loud, but Caia was not as good at tracking as Trinity was, especially in this terrain. Give her a few tons of snow, and sure, she could do it. This forest, however, as familiar as it was, was not her regional forte.

I've been dumped a boatload of work to do before college, so I will post when I can. Life is my nemesis.
'Tis the season! Here, a lovely song in commemoration of the holidays:
Oh Come, EmmanuelA wonderful interpretation by a couple of guys who just enjoy playing music.
