You both start out in a room that looks like this: Covered in blood. Dead bodies strapped on tables(At least you think they're dead!). Very dark. There is an automatic door. Now you see people in the glass of the door, one figure has a gun that you can clearly see. He shoots the figure that was next to him, then he shoots himself. ((I'm using mind control on one of them, but you don't know that yet. ))
