Roxy perked as she heard Haji's faint calls. She softly smirked. He sounded an awful lot like their kids. Whiny and helpless. It was kinda cute.

Roxy soon got up from her seat on the kitchen counter, throwing away a now empty blood pouch. "Coming~" she called up as she scaled the stairs.


Anber watched as Charlie nodded and scrambled off to go find her pet. Anber then sighed quietly, closing her eyes for a moment and just leaning against Karl. She was tired. She hadn't gotten much sleep last night because of her drinking binge.

Haji heard Roxy answer his calls ad he flopped down on his side on the bed, waiting for her to fully show herself. He didn't feel like sucking it up at all today, as most med did when they came down with a cold. It was amazing to see how fast the stronger gender crumbled under a measly case of the sniffles. He sneezed.


Karl nuzzled the op of Anbers head and bent down, scooping her up. Hed be a gentleman for now and carry her home.

Roxy eventually made her way into their room. "Yes? What's wrong?" she asked softly, seeing the weak looking Haji.


Anber blinked, feeling Karl pick her up. "What are you doing?" she asked, though not really minding.

"I hate to be a burden..." Haji began, still not moving from his place on the bed. "But, can you take this back down to the kitchen? Oh... and Im out of tissues." the disheveled brute asked, pointing to the tray that she had brought up earlier. It was perched neatly on the nightstand beside him, along with the empty tissue box he had mentioned.


"Nothing." Karl simply replaied, waiting for Charlie to collect her overgrown pet before starting home.

Roxy listened to Haji's meek request about the tray and being out of tissues. She nodded, "Alright, I'll put it up and get you some more." she told him, going over to pick up the try and empty box of tissues. "I'll be right back." she informed, going out and down the stairs.


Anber nodded before relaxing and just letting Karl carry her as Charlie tagged along with Prinncess. Hm. It was actually pretty nice to be carried like this. Made her feel like a queen.

Haji sniffed, watching Roxy leave with the items. She was so nice to him.... Hed make a point to pay her back once he was feeling better. Maybe another necklace or something...


Karl walked home with Anber in his arms and Charlie tagging along behind. Once they were back at the house, he set Anber down on her own two feet then stood back up to his full height of about 5'11.... he wasn't the tallest thing in the world.

Roxy went down the stairs and put the trays up in the kitchen. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. After a moment she started searching for a box of tissues for Haji, scrounging around in cabinets.

Roxy soon found the item she was looking for and went upstairs, back into the room. "Here ya go." she said, putting the box on the drawer next to Haji. "Anything else?"


After Karl set her down Anber straightened her clothes out. She then smirked to herself and buried her face into the crook of his neck. "You know, I believe I owe you a better apology." she purred quietly into his ear.

"No, thats it..." Haji snuffed, sitting up slowly and taking a tissue from the box. "Thank you."

He went through the ritual of wiping his nose and all before asking, "Are the kids asleep?"


Karl murred,nuzzling her back. "Oh? I believe you do..."

Roxy listened and nodded at Haji's concern. "Yeah, they crashed about minuets ago." she informed him, taking a seat on the edge of the bed.


Anber grinned slyly, nipping at him gently. "Well, come on then." she encouraged.

"Ah, okay. I wasn't sure. I didn't want to keep you if they were still up or something." Haji mumbled. He paused then, suddenly unable to breathe. He sniffed for a moment, then gave up, using the alternative until his sinuses stopped messing with him.



Karl grinned. He followed after her quietly, purring all the while.
