Roxy smirked and nodded before realizing Haji could see the action. "But of course."


"Nu uh! Princess likes to play!" Charlie retorted, stomping her small foot down as she continued to pout. There was really no point in arguing with such a small child, she'd still argue her point no matter what the older male said even if it made sense or was the truth.

Karl furiously wiped away the drool, swatting Princess's muzzle away with a hand lightly. the beast grunted and jerked her head up, still drooling.

Haji murred quietly, suddenly wishing he was at home, or Roxy at least in his office. He got quite bored during the day, so he reviled in these little chit chats with the vampire. "Well..." he drawled. "Should I let you go?"

Roxy listened. "If you must, I wouldn't want you to get in trouble ay work or anything for slacking." she said, smirking slightly.


Charlotte watched as Karl tried to get rid of the drool and keep Princess from sobering on his person. She continued to pout, arms folded and bright eyes narrowed. She was striking a real Anber pose at the moment, having picked up quite a bit from the adopted maternal figure.

"I practically run this building Roxy. You know that." Haji replied, looking back at his computer screen and the opened document displayed on the monitor. He didnt want to go back to work, but he knew he had to sooner or later. "But, very well. I'll see you later." Haji continued, scooting closer to his desk.

Karl frowned at the pose and bristled, knowing where she had gotten it from, and slunk out of the room, having lost the verbal fight... this time.

"That's true, but one still needs to work to get paid." Roxy said before hearing the last bit of what Haji said. "Alright, bye Haji." she said, taking the phone away from here ear and hanging up. Roxy smirked to herself and looked down at the dress she was wearing. It really was kinda comfy she supposed.


Charlie watched as Karl disappeared before going back to grinning and playing with Princess once again. The child was already growing up with learning how to have an attitude.

Roxy gently bounced Danielle on her knee as she sat on the couch, watching the boys as they played in their bouncer chairs. It was a quiet moment, nothing really happening except the expectancy of waiting for Haji to return home from work, which should be any minuet now really.


Anber read some book dealing with microengineering out of pure boredom. The subject wasn't really interesting to her since she dabbled more into anatomical sort of dealings when she worked in her lab.

Haji, as if right on Que, walked into the quiet house. The jingle of keys as they were set on the table and telltale footsteps were enough to get the boys attention and they flapped their arms as Haji entered the room. "Hello." he greeted, voice laced with the lag of a days work.


Karl found Anber mulling over a reading of some dort and went up behind er, peering over her shoulder curiously.
