triston waited, he was looking at the cups.

Jess yawned and watched dawn..she was a bit annoyaned and wanted to go..but she was worrid about jake...

[Patch.]

Jake looks uneasily at Jessie before starting to walk near the tables, looking at the cups closely. Which one could it be?

[Veja]

Shayde sighs, and jumps ino the clear water. She dives down as far as the small creek will let her, then she swims back up, watching the guys as she surfaces.

John glances at the cups, then at some hanging vines, wondering where Sammy could be hiding now.

[dark alice.]

Dawn laughed. "Well, it's a challenge! You gotta have some difficulties. Anyways, you think you could answer it? Here it is: What creature walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening? It's an old riddle, but it's fairly simple. Now, figure it out. I'm rather impatient." She paced back in forth in front of the fountain.

Carter looked at Shadow, to Jake, to Triston, to John, and then back at Dawn. He was utterly confused. Shadow frowned. He thought he recognized the riddle....

Nitawny put her arms on the bank and rested her cheek on them, watching the boys. So far, no men had been able to answer the question correctly...

[Patch.]

Jacob rolls his eyes. "I read about that riddle. It's ancient. The answer is, a man: he crawls on all fours as a baby, he walks on two legs when he's an adult, then he walks with a cane as an old man." He smirks at Dawn, proud of himself.

Sammy hisses softly, but not loud enough to be distinguished from the other animals. It could've been a snake.

Shayde rolls her eyes and scoffs. "Well woop-dee. You got it right." She says and floats on her back in the water.

[dark alice.]

Dawn laughs and looks up. "Did you really think I would let you get away with just an answer?" She threw back her head and laughed.

[Veja]

John looks from Dawn to Jake, he shrugs his shoulders and looks at the cups.

[dark alice.]

Dawn sneered. "Okay, now choose a cup. Good luck guessing the right one." She stepped back and said, conversationally, "You'll have a hard time guessing. Ha, no one has ever got it right in three hundred years! And plus, that's not all it.....ho yeah! Epic battle." She laughed and thought about the cup they would never get right...

Carter looked nervous. "Which cup?" he whined to Jake. Shadow looked grave again.

"Maybe, the least good looking one? I mean, usually everyone picks the best looking one..?" John suggests to the other guys.
